It’s 2.33am in Australia right now, I woke up a few hours ago and haven’t been able to sleep since. I feel sick and unwell. I just realized Maria’s face is probobly one of the faces I’ve seen the most in general for the last like 12 years of my life. I hope this doesn't sound strange but I don't even need to hear Maria's voice to feel relaxed, it's almost like 10+ years of watching her videos has trained my brain to associate her face with relaxation, like the way you feel around a loved one. Recovering from major surgery and you are the only thing that helped. You’re a angel on earth
I started watching this channel while caring for my dad in hospice. He was dying of cancer. Without knowing it things just became way too much for me & I started having these episodes I would later find out we’re horrible panick attacks - worse than anything I had known before. A friend recommended this channel & it always really helps calm me down or get some rest. Now my mother has dementia & it’s even harder than caring for my dad was, both mentally & physically, but I know where to turn when I need some relief. Thank you so much for these videos. ❤

I'm sorry for what you are going through. I also began watching these videos while caring for my mother in the last months of her life, and then my dad a year later while he was in hospice and dying with cancer. They have been gone for 4 years now. It is a hard road to travel. I pray for strength, peace, and rest for you as you care for your mother.
This might be strange to say but I really love your blue beautiful shiny eyes. Every time you stare at the camera, It feels so mystical becouse it's unreal for Japanese like me with brown eyes. And of course I LOOOVE your work. I'm fan of yours for like more than five years. Thank you for your efforts.
Maria says her eyes are a mix of green, grey and blue, and that they change all the time.i have blue eyes, as do almost all my family. So I find dark, dark eyes mesmerising. 😊
Her eyes are beautiful but I think you’re also picking up on something that is very intentional - she creates a particular shine/sparkle in her eyes with lighting. She has two or three lights (on top of her main lighting setup) specifically placed to reflect light into her eyes and make them have a ‘sparkly’ quality. She’s spoken about it in her behind the scenes videos.

Мне нравится замечать, что со временем я всё лучше и лучше понимаю видео на английском. Помню, 10 лет назад вообще не могла ничего понять, поэтому могла смотреть только на русском. Сейчас многое понимаю и на английском. Надеюсь, когда-нибудь наступит момент, когда для меня не будет разницы, и смогу с удовольствием смотреть каждое видео Маши. Спасибо вам, что помогаете заметить свой прогресс))

@@user-tr3po8cx8k нет, не сама. То в колледже, то в институте были пары. В моём случае мне достаточно легко даётся грамматика, вопрос был именно в словарном запасе. Если его пополнять, то очень многое становится понятным :)
Пополнять можно любыми способами, на мой взгляд самый хороший - это статья (любая, хоть из Википедии), или отрывок из книги. И вот оттуда надо выписать незнакомые вам слова и их выучить. А потом по старому школьному алгоритму: составить с ними фразы, потом написать "письмо другу". Так вы привыкните встраивать их в контекст и они запомнятся лучше. Ещё лично мне очень помогла практика разговоров с самой собой. Пока вы что-то делаете, о чём-то рассуждаете, можно поставить себе задачу рассказывать об этом на английском, например, пять минут. Скорее всего, это будет сложно. Но тут важно просто пытаться любыми способами: с помощью синонимов, или косвенных описаний. Если не получается, тогда вбить в переводчик слово, которое не получилось, и его заучить. Мне ещё очень помогают в Яндексе карточки для запоминания. Там можно добавить слова в избранное, а потом по ним устроить себе что-то типа теста

попробуйте слушать на английском аудио книги, а именно сказки, которые вы хорошо знаете, к примеру: Золушка, Белоснежка, Спящая красавица и тд.
они лёгкие для понимания и в процессе слушания вы будете пытаться выстраивать связь со своими воспоминаниями о сюжете.
ну и конечно же просмотр мультфильмов на английском, которые уже смотрели. тут вы еще с картинкой будете стыковать все английские выражения и даже если они вам не знакомы, то картинка сама подскажет вас, что это означает
Я не топикстартер, но могу посоветовать Дуолинго и смотреть кино-сериалы сначала на английском с русскими субтитрами, постепенно переключаясь на английские субтитры. Очень эффективно@@user-tr3po8cx8k
А я хоть и понимаю почти все, от английского не могу расслабиться, сам язык не люблю, да и поскольку я не думаю на этом языке, все равно приходится переводить -мозги напрягать. Буду ждать русской версии, может, Машенька порадует.

and filters and lighting. It’s pretty common for YT people to use filters and editing.

About 10 years ago I ran across Maria in a video that showed up in my feed called Crinkle Shirt. I had never heard of ASMR before, but I was entranced. It was as though I was hypnotized. I have listened to many ASMR RUclipsrs over the years, but I always return here. My favorite without doubt. She isn't wasteful like so many other youtubers and seems to know exactly what to do to put me into a coma. Any time I have problems fallings asleep she's my go to. Thank you Maria!!

In this video, I noticed yet again how perfect your eyeliner is. I would love to see a slow and peaceful video in this style, but a make up tutorial.
