  • I take to Salisbury Plain on my new (to me) Suzuki DRZ 400 to review the TIM TAM - an Australian biscuit that I think is excellent.
    I cover the throttle stone, how I naturally seem to break everything I touch and leave you in no doubt as to how fine the TIM TAM is. It only exists to beat the penguin at its own game and it succeeds flawlessly.

    Have you tried a Tim Tam?

    You may not think you're good at riding off road but my word you are a top notch biscuit eater.

    Majestic, simply Majestic. I sliced my head on the garage door yesterday but you know what ? It really doesn't matter now. Your tea making technique was fabulous and your post inhalation coma could've gone on for hours but your excitement for the Tim Tam consumption pulled you through.....the DRZ is a true gallant steed to transport both you and biscuit. Well done 👏👏

      Did you manage to glue your head back together? A chum had a whole Honda Blackbird wheel complete with brake disc hit him in the head. They said they could see skull at hospital!

      Wait till you try one. You'll want a pet kangaroo, a Ute and a mullet!

    The next step has to be loose tea. A flat wood drill bit for a perfect quick brew.

      How on earth did I overlook the use of powertools? Is there a charge for such valueable advice or is that just a sample?

    If you haven't already... it might be worth joining the trail riding federation TRF it gives you access to an online green roads map, (a lot of it does seem to be middle aged men with unlimited budgets for new £10k ktms and the like) I did a few in Derbyshire on my 1977 CG125 but like the cub you really have to work out which lanes are just gravel tracks and don't go much beyond that. the DR ZED or DR ZEE does look a heckin lot more suited for it!

    • @EpohDerf
      @EpohDerf  Год назад

      Sam, thanks for the tip. I was going to attend a TRF meeting the first Tuesday of this month but the weather was foul and I was garage tinkering...
      Having read a bit about the TRF, I admire what they do in terms of battling the forces of evil that seek to close motorbike access to a lot of trails.
      The other thing to remember is that whilst you might feel like you have nothing in common with the old boys with lottery funding, you'll at least be an old boy one day and you never know what you'll find down the back of the sofa... One day it will be us encouraging next generation to keep the trails open!
      Still got your CG?

      @@EpohDerf I think I also need a DRZ, managed to get a catastrophic puncture down a lane on my CG I then decided the best option was to collect it with my car short video on my escapade of how you fit a 125 in a Fiat 500
