Beautifully kept TV. It's rare to have a TV from this era look so good. Not saying aesthetically as i find most of these sets are beautiful but picture wise. That tube gets so bright!

I didn't know Hudson's Bay had a brand of electronics. Never seen one.
I'm jealous that all the gun adjustments are at the edge of the chassis. Jerkface Hitachi put them on the neckboard on my sets, and not even on the back, but on the front, so you're putting your hands and tools right up in there to adjust anything, which is why I haven't done any more work on them yet.
Great job on the 3D printing!!

I'm not sure how common Baycrest stuff is in the wild anymore, I think they stopped by the 90s. This TV really surprised me with how nice it was to work on.

This is made by Fujitsu-General, a brand that never really saw exposure in North America (they were fairly common at one point in Australia and other parts of Asia). Shinjyo-General was probably one of Fujitstu's manufacturing subsidiaries.

      Shinjo-Fujitsu-General was closed in 2009.
The location is Shinjo City, Yamagata Prefecture, where the prefectural hospital is currently located.

What a coincidence, I also have a 1984 14" TV with tuner dials but under Canadian Tire's house brand name Pulser!

I chuckled at the issue with the green gun. There is an episode of Minder (The Old School Tie) where Terry's friend, a fugitive, breaks into his apartment to hide from the law. When Terry comes across him, he tells Terry that he repaired his TV while waiting and that "there was too much green in the spectrum."

We don't have analogue TV signal any more in England. Interesting that it's still going in Canada.

It's not, I just have a closed system hooked up to the cable in my house.

Well, you need to have a lot of free space to be a CRT collector. Btw great video as always, it was a pleasure to watch!

Thanks! You're definitely right about the space thing - I constantly have to hold myself back from taking home larger TVs.

You still have analog TV in Canada! I wonder if I could pick it up in Detroit with an antenna 🤔

As far as I'm aware, there's only a handful of analog TV stations still operating in some rural areas. I have a closed "cable" system in my home that puts together a bunch of channels, but it's not over-the-air, unfortunately.

Oh yeah, that is the pattern generator (RCA device I was using), not the TV doing that. If I figure it out, I'll try to do a video on it.
