I have the same boat and was thinking about rigging mines myself but after watching this video I am looking for the nearest rigging shop 🤦🏿♂️ hellllllllllllppppp
I just got my 2022 188p finally working right. It's a great platform for the lakes in Michigan. I have four 12 inch helix. Mega live and target lock. I had electronics issues most of the summer. This is going to be a great boat for the next few years until I retire south.
Mark The wires that you guys ran can potentially burn an aluminum boat to the ground, if you don't install a fuse, or a circuit breaker at the Battery for every positive wire that you added. The fuse/circuit breaker is to protect the wires, not the graphs. The graphs will have their own fuse. If the insulation rubs off against a sharp piece of the aluminum hull, the wires will glow red and burn the boat down.
I had to rewire my last boat and it was a pain in the butt. I swore I wasnt gonna do it again also. Well I bought a ranger z522 and I upgraded my wire from the battery to the front deck for my solix and ultrex. Another pain in the butt, but I'm glad I did it
Coincidentally, mine is already hooked up to the truck, so just curious what time I should bring it by? Or come to Guntersville and trade all my waypoints 😎😇
Mark be on top of his A game forsure lol. Great video bro. So I challenged TODD CASTLEDINE to a flipping and pitching heavy cover from the bank, best 5 fish, he agreed to that challenge but now I’m over here like what happened to a challenge that he agreed on and now it’s like he plead the fifth. Man I just wanted to see what you think about that because he said that he’s down for it. it’s all for fun as creators and anglers. I know you got that dust pan ready to SWEEP everyone up and hold that trophy bro…👊🏻
I know these boats cost a fortune nowadays, and this would be an additional cost, but the boat manufacturers could pre-wired for all these graphs. Everyone orders their boats already knowing what type of electronics they will run. This is a lot of work that could be done in the boat build...
Marine wiring is different than the 8 gauge wiring you bought at the hardware store. Prepare to replace it soon. Boats are electricity friendly. Marine wiring is tinned with a solder in an oxygen free environment when manufactured to prevent corrosion. You may start to see weird interference on your graphs as the first sign. They also use a different coating. Hopefully your wire is copper, marine wire is pure copper and stranded, a lot of wiring made for the home is solid. Also, when pulling wires thru the boat, you can make it slide better just by either wiping the wire coating with wire pulling lube ( or water based KY 😂😈) . You need a breaker at the battery for that wire, it is so large it will burn a hole through your boat before you can get back and cut them. I would have individual fuses at the graphs and livescope box to protect them. $1 fuses vs $3k screens… a.co/d/gnQhAHS
Mark great tip about removing the side panel! As others said, I would suggest you use marine wire Its tinned and multi-stranded o give you better electrical flow. Check out the type of wire Seaclear or Westmarine use. I learned the hard way on my last boat with voltage drop and corrosion using hardware store wire. But if its all you could get you have to go with it for now to get on the water.
Btw good luck upcoming ‘23 season! I see and forecast 2 BPT trophies 🏆 this year and a RedCrest top 3. Not sure if it’s a 1st 2nd or 3rd but it’s a top 3
Sure enjoy your videos Mark, hope to meet ya some day, good luck 🍀 sir !!!
I agree. In a tin boat you need to run sheathed wire. I ran 10gauge 3wire in mine. If a wire wears through you can make the hull live.
Just bought a 106SV and LVS34 for my kayak! Picking it up today!
Try the Sea Clear wiring, you will be amazed !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Will be doing this DIY soon once I figure out the best option for me and my old school rangey!
Your shop is legit!

What rod racks are those in the background?
Custom build
Mark!!! No zip ties on the Garmin livescope ducer cable!!!! Use electrical tape.

I can't wait to see what you put in the boat this year....Good luck bruh
This many years an man still got the Chevy he started with!
Why didn't u just use sea clear harness mark? Curious
Happy for you bro now let’s go fishing put a few dollars on the line and let me give you your first loss on that guy lol
What size is the garage... Yikes!!!
His garage is half the size of my house😂 “GOALS”
That’s why you don’t use black and decker pecker wreckers 😂
Dude, your garage is TOO CLEAN. 😂
THATS A AWESOME SET UP...
Might not want to put zip ties on the live scope transducer cable. Garmin recommends tape
Looks clean Mark! That's my fav part of a new boat!
What charger for the starting battery? I only saw a 3 bank?
Coincidentally, mine is already hooked up to the truck, so just curious what time I should bring it by? Or come to Guntersville and trade all my waypoints 😎😇
Brother I would have installed it for you. I installed my live scope and my friends.

Mark you seem to be in a new garage man congratulations, can’t wait to see you get it together
Nice nice setup Mark😊

You have to have the cleanest garage around. I noticed a NOCO 10x4 battery charger box...did you also do a battery swap to the NOCO?
Running Noco chargers this year
It's a very nice setup, Mark. You will love it. I love mine & it is set up similar. These Ranger tin boats are awesome.
Garage so big you got an echo.
Keep dropping vids man hopefully this year you are more active on the tournament vids. All #Bulletproof love 🖤
Looks great! What foot pan is that? Love the cup holder. Will you post a link for the graph mounts and foot pan please?
Foot pan come with the boat and I’ll send you the link to graph mounts
