Not Really... The 2nd is the Event 30 in NFS HP2. 10 laps in a 12km circuit, and its more than 30 minutes of racing!

You could play NFS6's championship after hot pursuit which would mean the final race would also be non-cop (and non-traffic too).

but i play rivals and the final race there is basically full of cops
i mean sometimes the cops might even beat u in the race
and that my friends shows that it is possible to travel for a distance over 70km under 15 minutes...if you have a Bugatti Veyron...

Hot Pursuit came out on PSX and Hot Pursuit 2 came out on PS2. No reason why the new game is called Hot Pursuit.

tbh though i was mesmerize by the beauty of those mountains along with the road feels like i wanted to go to a roadtrip with my friends
The car before the Bugatti is in my opinion the best one to use. Sure it's the (second) fastest, but it handles drifts and turns a lot better than the Bugatti. I tested if for myself, I did the race four time twice with the Bugatti and twice with the other car. I have noticed that the second car drifts and turns are more fluid and more controllable. Where as the Bugatti, though the fastest drifts and turns are sort of stiff and rugged. But, that's just my opinion.

That is the Koenigsegg CCXR... And yep, it handles a lot better than the Bugatti.
A piece of advise for all of you who still plays this game... In Cops Car Selection, the cars are in order from the worst driving to the best. So the last one on each group is actually the best one.
For example, the Koenigsegg is the last of the Hypercars (and also last one that you unlock in Cops Ranking) and, that means, it's the best of the game.

Who’s watching this 2020, so many memories I was 8 years old I couldn’t win the race but I never gave up and when I finally beat it, it felt AMAZING bc even my brother who were older couldn’t beat it

They SHOULD of have done a final song for the final race, and seeing Bad Religion's 2010 album "The Dissent Of Man" was featured here w/ The Resist Stance, they should have of included Wrong Way Kids as well, and play it with the previous song (The Resist Stance) back-to-back.
I came 2nd in this Race using the Apollo Gumpert and it was very close Race but still I came 2nd

BTW, this game has really shitty speed feeling. At 400 in real life things pass so fast, youd need a 240Hz monitor to see it :D.

i came to this video after watching the Final Race against Darius in Carbon and tbh this is way more boring although it has better cars and graphics.. i wonder why?

In NFS Hot Pursuit you didn't have rival racers like Darius and I personally loved the ending of Hot Pursuit with this huge race.
If you play any NFS to see realistic driving, you're doing it wrong.
All Wheel Drive, I know 4wd and Awd are kinda the same but 4wd you have a transfercase by the front axle with an actuator motor, which allows you to choose 2wd or 4wd.
I really want to play this again...
I never took the shortcuts i sucked at going through with them...but i always always were good at striking at the perfect moment 2 drift and to hit the NOS and dogde incoming trafic...and one thing i can say bout this game is that makes u feel like ur driving the car the adrenaline the power of being fast

NFS Hot pursuit is like Burnout takedown because every time you crash on a car the camera shanges position and makes you watch the crash and other cars pass you the same time

@@mrx6795 finished it the first time as I was 9 years old. My car also went broke a few times. Now I'm 17, still planning it and can manage to get first place without touching a thing.
The highest I have ever got was 390km in free drive without a crash scene (always beeing over 250 kph).
Very realistic taking corners so easily at 400 km/h :D . Good driving btw.

70 km is just nuts
You need to have good car control & make sure you know how to drift through tight corners to really have a chance of completing this final race.
Nitro management is very important too,
Especially for the 1st half of the race where everyone is scrambling to be 1st in front.
Once you go in front just make sure you got good car control & make sure to avoid any crashes..
- I won it on my 1st attempt & it was very long that at 1 point I thought of quiting mid race 😅

it depends what you're looking for if you want a game with a storyline than you should buy the run but in the run you're only racing to get first in NY in hot pursuit its just you choose a mission and complete it and you can choose if you wanna be a cop or racer and you can drive around the map in the run you cant do that

There should be a Need for Speed game that's a mix between Hot Pursuit, Rivals, and Underground, along with all the Burnout games, with SUVs, trucks, and motorcycles and ATVs, in environments like this as well as urban, suburban, and exurban.

exactly...although I don't think that they're traveling at 300+ mph. The Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport can go to a top speed of 252 mph. The units on the guy's speedometer in the video is not in mph. :)

Not sure why but what I know is that Ferarri is VERY reluctant at giving clearance to include their cars in any video games.
This is basically Burnout, there's nothing from need for speed in this game, fucking disgrace what they did
No Lie Burnout>NFS anyway. This game was great and much more fun than the new need for speeds.
Same here, thats because they actually made a game that they can make, an arcade. Those attempts to make a simulations with Shift and Shift 2 were horrible, but The Run works as something you'd play casually.
Veyron comes with a spoiler that moves up or down depending on your current speed.
Imagine this race in real life....these awesome expensive cars

Need For Speed always lived up to my hype,except for the Shift series..they just weren't my type..
If your talking about how the other cars are catching up to him or he's having a hard time passing them if you look... the A.I. look like they're using the same car as him so yes... its gonna look slower...
the 4wd is an intellegent system , it activates when the car needs it.
i think this is a great NFS due it brings back all these days of NFS from PSX. i guess EA should make another new NFS like this but introducing all the classics racing cars mixing with the new generation class cars from today. ( including el niño, phantom and the hot road titan)

The classic ones had them but after 2002's HP2, Ferrari didn't allow NFS to include their cars.

Yea you would be impressed. The Veyron just gets to blown up. There are cars that don't get that speed but are allot more impressive engine/ performance wise.
Well I supose we all have different tastes. I for one find it challenging to drive as fast as possible without crashing and being overtaken by competitors. Maybe once (if possible at all) you master it then it becomes boring but till then?
So do you just hate that particular "track" maybe the cars or just that style of driving?
