Such an interesting Myriad Celestia. To add an observation, it's pretty telling about Herta that the only other person in the trailer beside Herta is Nous, and THEY don't really count as a person. Especially if you compare it to Ruan Mei's Myriad. She's supposedly the hermit genius who doesn't care about other people. But her trailer was full of others. Here it's all Herta. Which fits her so much.
The Ruan Mei comparison is a really interesting one to me. Something I realized after recording this is that Ruan Mei talks about finding a single unifying solution to reality that could allow her to achieve godlike feats while Herta is seeking an infinitely expanding question that she can spend all her time thinking about. It’s just interesting to think that one of them is looking for an underlying answer while the other just wants more questions.
@@SylvanGilmour Yeah, Herta is definitely more into the process itself. Ruan Mei actually has a question burning in her mind. A question so fundamental and all encompassing that she's not even sure it can be answered. But something she just can't live with no understanding. Would be interesting what someone with as much her drive as her would actually do when she finds her answer. One thing for sure though, Herta won't ever accept Polkas limited circle of knowledge. Those two are going to clash in the future again.
Though I didn’t draw attention to it, one of the first things that crossed my mind my mind when Herta said “step out of the circle”, was of Polka’s limited circle of knowledge and how her entire motivation as shown here is essentially to step as far out of that circle as possible.
@@SylvanGilmour Polka is definitely the foil to Herta. The one wants a world where everything can be answered and is willing to kill for it. For the other that's the worst nightmare she could envision. Kinda like the conflict between Mythus and Nous, but in house.
Such great analysis, what you said, about Herta being the perfect embodiment of erudition, made me think that is exactly why from all the Genius society members we met, she is the only emanator, unlike for exemple Ruan Mei where in another comment already said, she has a question that the answer would be the unifying solution to reality, she wants an answer, but as it was already said, Nous does not give answers, only questions, for the purpose of THEIR creation is to find the solution to the universe not not answer questions, as such THEY also only give questions for THEY are always calculation everything, Herta being exactly like, always asking question, made her become a being closer to the true personification of Erudition THEMSELFS.
I haven’t done any gameplay videos since 2.3 and ZZZ’s release for a variety of reasons and I’ve already played 2.7’s story so I wouldn’t be able to make a video on that, but I would be open to make one for 3.0’s story if people want to see it. I have been considering potentially streaming any future story and posting the vod afterwards. I might make a community post about it soon to see how people would want to see my reactions to the story itself.
