    Really learned a lot from your videos (kudos for your patience!), but the main thing that I've learnt is that I am NEVER going to swap out a Spyder engine 😂😂

      If you ever run into the situation where you need a swap, send it my way - I'm ready for another one... Cheers!

    Hey buddy, I am rooting for you, can’t wait to see you fire it up. It has been interesting to watch you replace the engine on your Spyder. I know I would never have tried it myself.
    Best of luck 🤞 😀

      Thank you! I really love doing this sort of thing. I'm happy to bring you along on the journey. The current snow storm here is going to hinder the progress on firing it up, but I'm chomping at the bit to see it run myself.

    I would advise sticking a rag in each of the three manifold ports to keep some nasty thing like a nut or washer from falling in. I have seen it happen.

    That looked like no easy task. An old trick for two wheels is to lay the bike on it's side and drop the motor in. Wow, to watch you wrestle that just made my back hurt.

    • @Y-DER
      @Y-DER  7 месяцев назад

      I nursed the back for a few days after that one. I just imagined the Spyder up on its side. That would be a sight to see.

      Glad you liked it! The Y-DER Truck played a silent role in this one too. I used the trailer hitch on the other side of the canopy to ratchet strap the engine into place.

    Hello. please tell me if it is possible to install the 1330 RT 2017 engine on the F3-T 2017 frame? The engine is identical. Do you think it’s possible or will the fasteners not line up? thank you for the information and I like and subscribe

    • @Y-DER
      @Y-DER  2 месяца назад

      I've actually never looked into this. However, I was once told when I was looking for my RT engine that the paint on the F3 engine was the only difference.

    How many miles were on the failed engine? Do you know what caused the failure? Thanks in advance.

    • @Y-DER
      @Y-DER  10 месяцев назад +1

      Failed engine had 130k. There is a gear that runs the timing chain up to the cams that failed. I have a good video of it in this series.

      @@PurpleOnThree I was an associate producer on a movie that we uploaded to Prime Video and a technical glitch with DropBox excluded a drone shot and replaced it with 5 seconds of an orange screen saying "Missing Video File". I will never do that again... The "First" game sounds like a fun one. I will give it a shot.
