He agreed to let Tywan play while being 2-3 hours late, he gave up an ace at 20-13 that was called good by the line ref (19:44) and then finally won at the end He took the attention away from Luke at the end by trying to challenge again even after everything Pretty uncharacteristic from Ty who I really thought repped sportsmanship in the sport.
Agree! Can't believe Tywan was given special consideration, rules are rules. What happens if someone shows up 5min late next year, will they get a break? Bad choice from the host and very unprofessional.

You can move all you want if its not between the ball and the opponent, the leniency gets much stricter in that case. Handball isn't the that kind of sport where you freely move to block the path between the ball and opponent, you're supposed to stand your ground.

The guy has been playing for 40sh years and is an old school B+ to A- singles player. Hes in his 50s and still occasionally snaggs A players in singles. Friggin girl was speaking poorly about a good man because she probably lost 5-10 bucks. Stuff like that just bugs me no lie.
That "dude" on the short line did not realize that if the ball hits the short line it is a short ball. He was replaced for that and for missing a lot of calls. Shout out to Ronal his replacement who took over the short line duties. Say what you want to say but the administration of this tournament was professionally executed. I do not believe it can be done much better. Even though I had my trepidations after the referees (Larry's) performance at the KOTC.

This kind of reminds me of when gio did this at the small ball nationals to joe Kaplan and they DQ’ed him for being late. It sucked too because he was probably the only one who could have taken out Tyree. This is unfortunate because I really wanted to see the run back between Tavo and Tywan. I feel like Tavo learned his lesson from by not shooting enough. All in all great games. Much bigger turn out this tourney then kotc.
I was only 5 mins late years ago at the nationals not 3 hours late . And I still got Dq the whole match , on the first day of the nationals I beat tyree in a tie breaker which put me in the semi finals that year 2012 . That was the year I was going to win it
I love watching Ty play, but he should have been dq if they gonna treat everyone fairly, and at the end he should have conceded and not taken the focus off of Luke's win.
