The Cranberry lip oil has been my hidden gem since I discovered it. At night, after I brush my teeth, its my favorite thing to put on. Im 41 and have been a "chapstick girl" since I was a tween/teen. This moisturizes so well!
I ware skin tints I never ware heavy or full coverage, I live ware it's like 98 and 100% humidity half of the year. It's inevitable that no matter what you do ur makeup is gonna disappear and your hair is gonna friz and flop , I have learned to kinda embrace it and do more natural makeup in the hot months so when it wares its gonna ware off gracefully. PS a little powder foundation over alittle concealer is also a good hot weather tip .
It's very true! I feel like most foundations just look pretty bad as they wear off in the hot weather. Less is definitely more. What's your favorite skin tint? I've been thinking about trying the Fenty one again because it's been a little while and my makeup preferences have changed since trying it the first time.
@@AndreaMatillano I haven't tried the Fenty one yet but I'm really liking the new Denessa Myricks one and I really like the YSL tint but I know it's not cruelty free I bought it last year and the neutragena sensitive skin serum foundation which isn't really foundation it's more skin tint but I don't think neutragena is cruelty free either which sucks everyone should be by now their isn't a real good reason to test beauty products on animals. I just ordered the Hourglass new skin tint but it hasn't came yet . I heard the iconic London one is good especially oily skin idk about their status Fenty and the rare beauty one which I still need to try that too. I really like the tower 28 one to in small amount it looks pretty on , I think u tried that one . I also like to use a hydrating primer like the primerizer add a small dot of the halo glow mix put it on and use a concealer in spots blend it out it's really good for hot weather and sometimes I add a small amount of powder foundation over that .
YESSS I love the ReLove foundation!! It does not budge, doesn’t sit in my fine lines, doesn’t look cakey. I haven’t seen many people talking about it but it’s so good. 😍
One of my hot Texas day tricks is to use Bare Minerals powder foundation as a concealer over a skin tint, and set everything with a setting spray. It doesn't melt like some cream/liquid concealers will and wearing a skin tint over a high coverage foundation helps my skin breathe.
I tried those Summer Friday lip balms the last time I was in Sephora, but they instantly reminded me of my NYX Fat Oils, so I didn’t grab one. I’m really surprised nobody’s compared the two. I wasn’t going to waste my money when I already have something so so similar. 😊
Oh intersting! I would say they both feel hydrating on the lips. I think I almost like the NYX product better because it's a little bit longer lasting!
Florida residents here. It’s been in the 100s for the past few weeks with 70-90% humidity. I’m oily as well and wear the Nars Matte foundation, the Nikkia Joy powder, and a setting spray is a must! I blot with the Makeup Forever powder foundation. I still get very oily, but the makeup is easy to set back down mid-day. It’s so hot though, that it isn’t safe to stay outside for too long, so I’m trying to stay in the A/C as much as possible. ❤

For the hot humid weather and also long haul flights, I found the CT setting spray to literally stick makeup to my face and nothing comes off. I was recently in Japan and used that spray. Even slept on the flight with an eye mask, and my makeup was still intact after more than 18 hours. I wore the Dr Jart BB cream and set it with the Vieve matte powder.
Another Okie chiming in! I have been doing no makeup makeup all summer with this crazy humidity. Tinted moisturizer instead of foundation, a good SPF and no primer, and I'm loving the ELF setting spray. It's amazing the looks I've been creating with zero foundation

I got a great tip! I accidentally found it. I was trying new toner in the morning and it’s a very very mild pha Heartleaf toner . Idk it help so much. Then I use the humidity proofing makeup and spray setting sprays in between foundation concealer and the powder. Then finish with a finishing powder. Layers.
Tati did a great video about sweat proof makeup and I ordered some of it because I live in Alabama. ELF power grip and Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray are my go to. I also love the Urban Decay All Nighter loose power. I have it pressed too, but I prefer loose powder. I have oily skin and live in Alabama.

I lived in jungle areas for 5 years and found the Makeup Forever setting spray was WONDERFUL! Re doing makeup normally makes me look cakey, but I could go out for lunch, walking in 90+ with 90% humidity and if needed come back and spray that on my face and my makeup looked like I just did it or I could add more and looked so good.
I love what I could see of your top, it is super cute. I kept hoping you would stand up so we could see the rest of it. I enjoyed the video and will look for the fails as well. Loved the eye look also. I am going out in a little bit, I'm going to look for that moss color eye stick. On the humidity, the foundation depends on your skin, but it's one of those things where it is worth splurging on a good one. Lancome, Estee Lauder both work great in Florida and Texas humidity. Natasha Denona seems to work great in Arkansas and Louisiana. But you must use some powder to set things. I also make sure to use a primer and setting spray on days I know we are going to be really active outside. Otherwise, throw on some sunscreen, apply a good waterproof mascara, and some gloss and call it done. 😂
You looked beautiful! Wow! I have to try that Essence lip tint 😮 such a beautiful color you wore. I loooove my Patrick Ta duo blushes 💃🏿 Oh thank you for the Revolve by Revolution serum foundation! I am surprised that I can find a shade in the deep shade range 😮 I’m going to buy it. I sweat a lot in the gross NYC humid weather, so for me, I use Mehron Mattifying Skin Prep that I get on Camera Ready Cosmetics, then I lock everything with my One Size setting spray. That has really worked for me. I also have the Carpe Sweat Absorbing Face Lotion. I use either of those on the days the humidity will be a ridiculous level. Oh I have the Versed Instant Resurfacing Mask so I will try the scrub now! Thank you! I enjoyed this video❤

I have been struggling with dry lips. I had a allergic reaction to a lip product. Most lip balms and oils made the reaction worst. I started using Biossance lip balm. It really helped. I was looking for a product similar to this but less expensive (I need to import the Biossance due to my country not stocking this product). I watched a video where you recommended the Catrice Lip jam. I decided to try it. It works just like the Biossance. Thank for a fantastic recommendation.❤

Well I wear the Double Wear Estee Lauder foundation and I live in Florida It was 95° here today lol And that seems to stay on me very well if you like full coverage!!
I think currently it’s super hot everywhere but I’m in Florida and it feels like the surface of the sun is less hot. And in my 50’s I had a horrid case of acne 2 weeks ago. More pimples in that week than my entire adolescence & I know it’s my skincare & makeup. Such a bummer! Stay hydrated in OK!

I haven’t had that issue but I haven’t had it for a super long time. It’s the worst when that happens. 😭 I’ve heard some people say that happens with the Naturium lip balms which I know are really similar!
I live in north Texas, I wear the Catrice hd foundation funny enough 😊 the etude zero sebum powder is really good, the milk matte spray to set, the la Roche Posay serozinc spray to prep. It's a lot LOL
Definitely the Hask Argan Oil 5 in 1! You can find it at Target. I’m pretty sure it’s at Ulta and on Amazon too. It really works to detangle and hydrate but it’s not too heavy!
Yes! It’s actually so nice. I usually wash my hair every other day but with this formula I was able to extend it three days. It has a nice fruity scent but it’s not as overpowering as other formulas!

I ordered the deep plum She's wanted from Patrick Ta. I have a good amount of summer blushes such as corals, peaches and red. I really do not have any fall blushes such as berries or wine. I really think this would look great in the fall time.
I’m using the L’Oréal fresh wear foundation during the hot and humid weather we are having right now. It works so good! My sister says the Bare Minerals liquid foundation is great too 😊❤️💄
I live in the very southeast corner of Alabama and it stays around 100% humity this time of year and stays in the mid to high 90's. I have oily skin and the only foundation I have been able to to get to stay in place and not get super oily is my Too Faced Born this way Matte foundation. Usually my Nars soft matte foundation does well but today I used it and got super oily and foundation started to move around my nose by 3:00 p.m.

Fun video idea: you have $100 to replace your makeup. It has to be what you love to use regardless of price. How many categories can you squeeze in? They were products I either had or had used in the past. So much fun!
We wear the same makeup but stay in the ac 😅 Tbh, Ive been kind of leaning into the "glow" trying both the Loreal & Maybelline serum foundation/tints. Also tried the Colourpop foundation and love that too.

i love the Eva NYC 10 on 1 spray... especially the scent!! Do the other products have the same scent? I've smelled it before and couldn't put my finger on it but just a few days ago I think I figured out that it's curve crush.
It does have a very distinct scent I couldn’t put my finger on either! I feel like the shampoo and conditioner smell kind of similar but not as strong! They are a little more subtle.

I live in houston where the temps get to 110 cuz of the humidity. I wear the pixi peach cc pot under my eyes n kosas cloud powder as a base n it lasts for me. I do brows with a clear gel n a pencil n I dont wear eyeshadow but i use a colorful eyeliner to do graphic dots on my eyes in the shape if a big winged liner. Its more forgiving than graphic lines n finish with mascara. Eyeshadow always creases in this weather so its almost pointless.

I like Relove’s skinny eyebrow pencil too. It is tiny but rectangular-shaped. Not overly waxy (hard/dry) which is what I prefer.

Oh thank you for the Revolve by Revolution serum foundation! I am surprised that I can find a shade in the deep shade range 😮 I’m going to buy it.
I sweat a lot in the gross NYC humid weather, so for me, I use Mehron Mattifying Skin Prep that I get on Camera Ready Cosmetics, then I lock everything with my One Size setting spray. That has really worked for me. I also have the Carpe Sweat Absorbing Face Lotion. I use either of those on the days the humidity will be a ridiculous level.
Oh I have the Versed Instant Resurfacing Mask so I will try the scrub now! Thank you!

I have been struggling with dry lips. I had a allergic reaction to a lip product. Most lip balms and oils made the reaction worst. I started using Biossance lip balm. It really helped. I was looking for a product similar to this but less expensive (I need to import the Biossance due to my country not stocking this product). I watched a video where you recommended the Catrice Lip jam. I decided to try it. It works just like the Biossance. Thank for a fantastic recommendation.❤

I think currently it’s super hot everywhere but I’m in Florida and it feels like the surface of the sun is less hot. And in my 50’s I had a horrid case of acne 2 weeks ago. More pimples in that week than my entire adolescence & I know it’s my skincare & makeup. Such a bummer! Stay hydrated in OK!
Andrea does your summers Friday lip balm ever leak with the top on. I have the clear one and it leaks which I don't like. That makes me not want to try any more shades.
I haven’t had that issue but I haven’t had it for a super long time. It’s the worst when that happens. 😭 I’ve heard some people say that happens with the Naturium lip balms which I know are really similar!
I live in north Texas, I wear the Catrice hd foundation funny enough 😊 the etude zero sebum powder is really good, the milk matte spray to set, the la Roche Posay serozinc spray to prep. It's a lot LOL

Definitely the Hask Argan Oil 5 in 1! You can find it at Target. I’m pretty sure it’s at Ulta and on Amazon too. It really works to detangle and hydrate but it’s not too heavy!

Was the dry shampoo from FFF the Vegamore? If so how are you liking it ?
Yes! It’s actually so nice. I usually wash my hair every other day but with this formula I was able to extend it three days. It has a nice fruity scent but it’s not as overpowering as other formulas!

I ordered the deep plum She's wanted from Patrick Ta. I have a good amount of summer blushes such as corals, peaches and red. I really do not have any fall blushes such as berries or wine. I really think this would look great in the fall time.

I’m using the L’Oréal fresh wear foundation during the hot and humid weather we are having right now. It works so good! My sister says the Bare Minerals liquid foundation is great too 😊❤️💄

I live in the very southeast corner of Alabama and it stays around 100% humity this time of year and stays in the mid to high 90's. I have oily skin and the only foundation I have been able to to get to stay in place and not get super oily is my Too Faced Born this way Matte foundation. Usually my Nars soft matte foundation does well but today I used it and got super oily and foundation started to move around my nose by 3:00 p.m.
Oh that's good to know! I feel like I tried that when it first launched but it has been so long. I've actually been thinking about trying it again lately so I think I'm going to have to pick it up!

Fun video idea: you have $100 to replace your makeup. It has to be what you love to use regardless of price. How many categories can you squeeze in? I got brushes, brows, mascara, eyeshadow palette, concealer, primer/spf, foundation, setting spray, powder, bronzer, blush and a lip gloss for $96.27 😂. They were products I either had or had used in the past. So much fun!

i love the Eva NYC 10 on 1 spray... especially the scent!! Do the other products have the same scent? I've smelled it before and couldn't put my finger on it but just a few days ago I think I figured out that it's curve crush.
It does have a very distinct scent I couldn’t put my finger on either! I feel like the shampoo and conditioner smell kind of similar but not as strong! They are a little more subtle.

I live in houston where the temps get to 110 cuz of the humidity. I wear the pixi peach cc pot under my eyes n kosas cloud powder as a base n it lasts for me. I do brows with a clear gel n a pencil n I dont wear eyeshadow but i use a colorful eyeliner to do graphic dots on my eyes in the shape if a big winged liner. Its more forgiving than graphic lines n finish with mascara. Eyeshadow always creases in this weather so its almost pointless.
I seriously love that so much! I feel like that's such a fun way to do an eye look. I want to try it now!

Anyone else have a bad reaction to the NYX Fat Oil? I've been wearing lip glosses, balms, and oils every day for over 30 years, so many brands and products, never a problem. One afternoon of this lip product left my lips so dry they were cracked and bleeding!
