    explanation was very good.i have one doubt.if any segment lost in congestion avoidance phase than what will be the threshold value and how the segment will go??

    Sir if Send Window size is 9 and threshold value = 4.5 then which value we take it as Congestion windows either ceil of (4.5 ) nor floor of (4.5) ?

    once congestion avoidance phase start, and we have to linearly increase the value of the window size, we will linearly increase it by 1MSS or by 2MSS? and how will we determine that?

    How are 3 duplicate acknowledgements generated whenever a packet is lost?

      total segments(packets) are 4, if we got 3 acknowledgments means 4th segment was droped
