Teetwal, one of the 4 border villages and off beat destination of Kashmir Valley, India , that is attracting a lot of travellers and tourists in recent years owing to their location as well as natural virgin beauty of the landscape.
Our trip to Kashmir Border started with our day trip to Teetwal from Chowkibal where we were staying for the night. Though the distance was not that long, only 35 kms approx from Chowkibal, but due to ascending and winding roads, it takes longer than expected. Starting from Chowkibal, the scenic beauty enroute to this border village was beautiful, where you get to cross Bangus Valley and then enter Karnah valley after passing Sadhana Top which connects Karnah valley to the rest of Kashmir. It has been a unique experience travelling to this Indo-Pak border village, watching life, albeit for a little time, on Indo Pak border.
