Have you considered going a building mechanics tips/tutorial? I have so many ideas but the building mechanics make me so frustrated I usually just give up after a few hours.
The building mechanics are a bit broken atm so its not just you.. 😄 frontier is working on it to fix it and then I will make a tutorial of how to use it and give some tips 😘
That's a great looking enclosure, I just love this game. Since you're working on an African area, may I suggest a giraffe habitat? they're an iconic zoo animal but for some reason I just feel like they are really underrepresented amongst Planet Zoo youtubers? I really haven't seen many in Let's Plays... you could make a big giraffe house along with it where the guests could walk in on an elevated path, like what they have in Rotterdam Zoo.
WOW, That enclosure is absolutely stunning. Not that i would expect anything else from you. I’m always amazed at how realistic and beautiful ALL your enclosures look. I can only dream of getting that good, I can hardly lay down a straight path let alone build something like this. Just mind blown
DeLadySigner is hands down the most talented creator/ publisher in Planet Zoo! She has just the most creative ideas and she makes use of some objects that I would never think of using ever in my life time! I can't wait to watch the rest of your Planet Zoo videos as you make them and build and improve upon your skills even further!
yeah, this would have been extremely cool. Lets be honest, nobody would cry after the numerous combinations and colors, you can combine your dinos together. But with proper Landscaping and props, while having a sandbox mode, just with standard dinos, I would have been completely satisfied. Planet Zoo with dinos, perfection.
This is such a cool build inspired what I’m doing now with a hippo and croc habitat. I’m putting a viewing area similar to this but instead of one habitat on one side the guests get to view crocs on one side and hippos on the other. It’s an alternative to building two separate underwater viewing area. I love your builds they’re awesome you’re very creative, and talented.
The way you use all of the build tools blows my mind! Can’t wait to master them and be able to have that kind of control. Right now I’m super frustrated with building barriers and paths because I’m used to Sims build tools.
Aaaw thank you! I can imagine its a bit hard when you are new to it.. ive learned alot while playing planet coaster, so pretty used to it now 😬 keep trying and you will get used to them all too ❤
DeLadysigner How do you get the paths to be square? Mine are always rounded. I’m having the most trouble with those, getting them to line up with staff buildings and such.
I'm pretty sure the zoo your looking for is the Dallas zoo, we have a Hippo habitat that is called the Hippo Outpost with an underwater view and a big restraunt-like building and looks similar to the one you are making
Absolutely beautiful build - inspirational! You mentioned not being able to hide the curbs around 6:15, but actually there is a setting under the pathways that allows you to hide the curbs. Then when you place floor pieces over the pathway as you have - the curbs are hidden! Hope that helps! Again, awesome build!
Hihi you don't have to tell me, I play Planet Coaster since 2016 where the path tool is the same.. so I mean that its technicly not possible (anymore) to hide them (for example because of too close water, too thin terrain underneath it or raised paths where you can never hide kerbs) :) ♥ but thank you for the help, hihi ♥
When I was in Africa we saw a hippo and it charged was actually really fast for an animal that large. I love this habitat. Keep up the great work Lady!!
Came back to this video after the Aquatic Pack release because I remembered someone mentioning the hippos swimming. I haven't played much with hippos, crocodiles, and polar bears since yesterday, but I would love to see their swimming animations expanded now that aquatic creatures and enrichments have been released!
i will never understand how you are so good at creating things, but that alright. I don't have to understand to enjoy watching you build your creations.
@@usecodespliff Yes I got early access to the video, DeLady got early access to PlanZoo, but I don't think that explains why she's so good at creating things.
DeLadysigner, all your planet zoo speedbuild video are fantastic, terrific and awesome. Sometime makes me wonder, are you a interior designer or zoo exhibit and enclosure landscape architect/designer
Will u ever(in the future) look at our zoo's? If that even is possible. Id love to have you look over my zoo (when i get the game °^°) and maybe point out the things i need to work on and then i know what to practice. Wonder if it's possible would be fun!! And ofc i love your creativity you help alot when it comes to understanding and also finding inspiration
I have watched several videos of other people who have created Park Planet Zoo. I love your enclosures of you because you make them super too good it looks like they are real you are very gifted it really looks like real enclosures of real park or real zoo it is super well done continues as its because it is your talent congratulations!
Such a beautiful enclosure! I would love for you to a video with a focus on making beautiful water areas. Mine are turning out murky looking even with water hooked up. Thanks as always for a wonderful video.
Just fyi, if the water ledges are too deep for them to traverse, some of the water wont be under 'traversable area', which might make the water area smaller than needs to be. I had that issue in the beta at least, and thats why they wouldnt use the water.
The way you build and eye for detail is absolutely amazing! Im trying to learn this too now but easier said then done! Also for my hippos this was something I didn't really get. They want sooo much water for only like 4 hippos, but when I watch them they barely swim... When I watch its either 1 or none in the water and only for like 30 seconds. When I watch my crocodiles on the other hand they chill in the water for minutes.
Hehehe, I love how dainty hippos are when they're underwater. So cute! The habitat looks gorgeous! The one suggestion I'd make is that the rock roof of the underwater viewing area kind of looks like someone could climb on it, so it might need to be fenced off to avoid someone taking a dive into the hippo pond 😳 Other than that though, really beautiful work!
I always learn so much from your videos! Like this one the difference in paths throughout the habitat really sells it and i always stick to just one path as I go. A great thing for me to work on and practice going forward
Wildlands Adventure Zoo in Emmen (Holland) has also an underwater viewing area. And the hippos there are often in the water. You can really see them face-to-face. They are BIG!!!
Me too. The Indian rhinos in the game are cool but I'd love to see an African species. I worked with a pair of southern white rhinos during an internship and they've become one of my all-time favorite animal species
Zach Johnson wait white rhinos aren’t in the game?! I really thought they would be. Considering that they’re also really endangered and all that. But yeah rhinos are wonderful animals, I’ve only seen them in the wild though, I’ve never interacted with one.
@@leonewashere yeah it's just Indian rhinos in the game at least based on videos I've seen but yeah they are really cool. One of the rhinos I worked with was named Gunner and he was super friendly. Sure loved having is ears scratched like a puppy
Zach Johnson that’s adorable! I love the noises they make to communicate. Where did you work with them if I may ask? Like I said I’ve just seen them in the wild, in the Kruger National Park in SA.
16:45 - Tough guy, coming through! Watch out guys he's stealing all the ladies from you! LOL - P.S. Great video. I wish I knew how to build like this. I'm still just learning the basic controls. Beautiful habitat.
I don't know if it's a thing in this game, but if it isn't, they should add training to this game. For those of you reading and don't quite understand what I mean, I'm going to enjoy this. No I don't mean training as in getting an animal to jump through a fire hoop or ride a bike...go to a circus for that stuff. At a zoo, think of training as an extra curricular activity for the animal and keeper. It helps the animal and keeper build a relationship, provides the animal with treats as a reward, and it also allows animals to be able to go through some medical procedures without having to get sedated. For example, last summer at an internship, I had the honor of training a tiger named Raja. My main goal was to get him to sit down and stick his tail under the fence and stay there long enough for the vet to get a blood draw. Other tasks included getting to pace so we could potentially look for signs of limping, stand on his hind legs so we could check his abdomen, and place a paw against the gate so we can see if there is anything wrong with it. I did try to train him to keep his mouth open so I could check his teeth, but my internship ended before we got the hang of it, he's learned though. Also a couple of hours ago actually I was training a Eurasian Lynx. So anyway if training isn't a thing in this game, it really should be. if they made it anything like real life it would make the game even more fun
Aaaw thank you ❤ just wait until you see the next 2 episodes 😄 you will be blown away ❤ no video today, cause my Flamingos habitat took me ages and still int finished but SO beautiful 😍❤

Its basically a normal indoor space with varying levels of water, kinda like a pool in someones backyard, except a lot longer. It was especially nice when the hippo gave birth recently so the baby could stand up in the water!
For people who don't know how to do square paths, I would suggest to go watch the tutorials playlist, but if you don't want to heres how: first you must go on paths and place atleast one part of it down, then hit the "Align To Grid" after hitting that click on the path you made then enable "Square Edge's" you then place more path and you have a non-rounded path!
I think this is my favourite habitat of yours, is it absolutely amazing! I just built a pygmy hippo habitat in my zoo and I'm struggling how to get a sunken viewing area so the guests can see them swimming! Any tips?

Why doesn't Jurassic world evolution have tools and level design like these? :(
Good question
Probably because this is the game they wanted to make, evolution is the game they where payed to make
Because of Warner Bros....
