No need to apologize it's a very common thing. It's called a "crutch word". Just work on slowing down your speech a bit. People use crutch words without even realizing it a lot of the time. People use crutch words which give our brains more time to think and process what we are trying to say. You're young and have plenty of time to work on that. Just remember looks are nice but they aren't everything! Kids and young adults are so obsessed with that and make fun of others who aren't the best-looking people which is sad. Give everyone a chance and be nice to all! Unless they are constant pricks.

Thank got pregnant at 16, had my baby at 17. The things my dad said to me still haunt my subconscious, 34 years later! I’m working on releasing the trauma. I hope you can release yours and live your best life. You are worthy of love and success.

This almost made me cry. I live in a household with a lot of screaming (I have special needs and adhd with chronic fatigue) and my mom can’t grasp that getting up in the morning is a struggle. I’m so sorry to hear you went through such hell with your family. My mom was also very young when I was born and her fam made her life a living hell as well. As an adult know I can say knowing what I know now I’ve told them all off. I can understand being scared and fear for your child when something like this happens but mentally abusing a pregnant woman let alone your child is unacceptable. It’s your child! They can support without condoning. Glad to see you both seem like more mature parents than what you had. Keep it up for your baby girl.

Don't know how you did it! My wife and I started dating at 14, her and 15 , me. This was in 1956. What happened to you happens to many we knew back then and luck was with us. We have been married for 60 years and with all of our kids and grandkids I would like to think we would have been strong enough to withstand the storm but I don't know. I don’t know how, but I ended up on your video. I just wanted to say that you’re very strong and I’m so sorry you went through this. Your family is beautiful. I hope you overcome this because relatives can be very selfish sometimes and instead supporting you they just know how to point fingers and destroy you emotionally. What was done was done and that’s it. They don’t care about the repercussions of emotional abuse, physiological part of it, causing you a PTSD for that. I'm sorry that you were denied the support that you so desperately needed from Jason. Your family keeping you two apart during your pregnancy really didn't make any sense. Many young women or women in general aren't fortunate enough to have a man that wants to be in their lives and supportive when they have an unexpected pregnancy, and the fact that Jason wanted to be there, but wasn't allowed to be, is extremely sad. 🥺 You both are very strong ppl. As a teen dad this is a lot of what my gf and I went through tho my parents are very strict Christian and I am too just not as strict. My parents FLIPPED out on me and were so mad at me. My gfs parents are also Christian just not as strict. They were mad at me but we were able to deal with it. That whole 9 months was a fucking nightmare but after my son was born my whole life changed and I wouldn’t change those minutes for the world
Being Christian doesn’t make them “strict “ honestly they could’ve been more strict and no pregnancy would’ve happened or they could’ve parented better into the prevention and talking to their kids and teaching them about birth control. I would never yell at my kid if they got pregnant young I would be more mad at myself and I would never want to have them be aborted

As a father of 5 boys, the thought of one of them being a father at 15 would have been life changing for sure. To have all the negative discussions surrounding a pregnancy is not healthy, age plays a large roll in this. But the support to both young parents is what is the most important. The increased stress is not good for anyone. What is done is done, we can't turn the clock back. Life discussion's are what needed to be a healthy family. The new child needs to be brought into the world in a peaceful environment. It sounds like you two are doing alright and hopefully your families are being supportive. Life and raising a child take a toll at times, be patient with each others. Your daughter seems very happy.

I mean it's my daughter, she made an irresponsible mistake but she's still my daughter. And I'd give my own life for my daughter, no matter what. If you think that is okay to ever act like that towards your child I hope you never have kids. It’s okay and normal to be shocked or angry at first but when you go into her room just to scream at her over the course of nine months while saying terrible things about her, the child, and the father, that’s disgusting. Causing that much stress on her could’ve easily hurt her or the child. The only thing you can really do is be supportive and let her know that everything will be okay.
Hey Brooke and Jason I’m a mum of a 15 nearly 16 year old through my x partner she was 3 months old when I first met her. I was 19 at the time didn’t take long for me to get into the mum role as I have always been around children however, if my family hadn’t been supportive I don’t know what I would have done let alone 14, you are amazing and I think your family are lucky to have you. I hope they very much regret the way they behaved towards you. On the flip side as a mum to a 16 year old I can see why they found it difficult but they should have never not allowed you to get the support from Jason who baring in mind wanted to support you, there are many dads older than him that wouldn’t have wanted anything to do with it. Being a parent is the most rewarding thing ever but also soooo hard at times but I will support and guide my daughter in whatever comes her way and I can see that both you and Jason are going to do the same she is a very lucky girl to have such wonderful parents. I’m so sorry to hear you went through such hell with your family. My mom was also very young when I was born and her fam made her life a living hell as well. As an adult know I can say knowing what I know now I’ve told them all off. I can understand being scared and fear for your child when something like this happens but mentally abusing a pregnant woman let alone your child is unacceptable. It’s your child! They can support without condoning. Glad to see you both seem like more mature parents than what you had. Keep it up for your baby girl.

Don't know how you did it! My wife and I started dating at 14, her and 15 , me. This was in 1956. What happened to you happens to many we knew back then and luck was with us. We have been married for 60 years and with all of our kids and grandkids I would like to think we would have been strong enough to withstand the storm but I don't know. I don’t know how, but I ended up on your video. I just wanted to say that you’re very strong and I’m so sorry you went through this. Your family is beautiful. I hope you overcome this because relatives can be very selfish sometimes and instead supporting you they just know how to point fingers and destroy you emotionally. What was done was done and that’s it. They don’t care about the repercussions of emotional abuse, physiological part of it, causing you a PTSD for that.

I just found your channel and I just want to say that from what I've seen, you're both doing an amazing job at being parents especially with all you've had to deal with during your pregnancy. I'm sorry that you were denied the support that you so desperately needed from Jason. Your family keeping you two apart during your pregnancy really didn't make any sense. Many young women or women in general aren't fortunate enough to have a man that wants to be in their lives and supportive when they have an unexpected pregnancy, and the fact that Jason wanted to be there, but wasn't allowed to be, is extremely sad. 🥺 You both are very strong ppl. Being a 28 year old man with a daughter I can't even imagine how I would react if my daughter got pregnant at 14 I'd definitely be pissed to the max but I would hope I would not call my daughter names every night for months

As a teen dad this is a lot of what my gf and I went through tho my parents are very strict Christian and I am too just not as strict. My parents FLIPPED out on me and were so mad at me. My gfs parents are also Christian just not as strict. They were mad at me but we were able to deal with it. That whole 9 months was a fucking nightmare but after my son was born my whole life changed and I wouldn’t change those minutes for the world
Being Christian doesn’t make them “strict “ honestly they could’ve been more strict and no pregnancy would’ve happened or they could’ve parented better into the prevention and talking to their kids and teaching them about birth control. I would never yell at my kid if they got pregnant young I would be more mad at myself and I would never want to have them be aborted

As a father of 5 boys, the thought of one of them being a father at 15 would have been life changing for sure. To have all the negative discussions surrounding a pregnancy is not healthy, age plays a large roll in this. But the support to both young parents is what is the most important. The increased stress is not good for anyone. What is done is done, we can't turn the clock back. Life discussion's are what needed to be a healthy family. The new child needs to be brought into the world in a peaceful environment. It sounds like you two are doing alright and hopefully your families are being supportive. Life and raising a child take a toll at times, be patient with each others. Your daughter seems very happy.

If I were your parents I'd be mad as f too, but that doesn't mean I won't support my daughter in any ways possible. I mean it's my daughter, she made an irresponsible mistake but she's still my daughter. And I'd give my own life for my daughter, no matter what. No one deserves to be treated that way even less a teen. You made an irresponsible mistake, but your parents did too, by not giving you the support you needed.

I am so sorry your father emotionally abused you throughout your pregnancy. His behavior was inappropriate and mean. Your mother should have helped you after you after birth. I’m a nurse and needed loads of help. You are safe at your boyfriend’s house-please continue to live there for your mental health ❤️

@@BrianYochem she most definitely will remember each and every bit of it. What she explained was emotional abuse, not “tough love”. If you think that is okay to ever act like that towards your child I hope you never have kids. It’s okay and normal to be shocked or angry at first but when you go into her room just to scream at her over the course of nine months while saying terrible things about her, the child, and the father, that’s disgusting. Causing that much stress on her could’ve easily hurt her or the child. The only thing you can really do is be supportive and let her know that everything will be okay.

Hey Brooke and Jason I’m a mum of a 15 nearly 16 year old through my x partner she was 3 months old when I first met her. I was 19 at the time didn’t take long for me to get into the mum role as I have always been around children however, if my family hadn’t been supportive I don’t know what I would have done let alone 14, you are amazing and I think your family are lucky to have you. I hope they very much regret the way they behaved towards you. On the flip side as a mum to a 16 year old I can see why they found it difficult but they should have never not allowed you to get the support from Jason who baring in mind wanted to support you, there are many dads older than him that wouldn’t have wanted anything to do with it. Being a parent is the most rewarding thing ever but also soooo hard at times but I will support and guide my daughter in whatever comes her way and I can see that both you and Jason are going to do the same she is a very lucky girl to have such wonderful parents. You should be very proud of yourselves xx

hey brooke this is the first time im watching one of your vids but im really glad i found your channel me and my bf are 15 and 2 months ago we found out that we're going to have a baby now we didn't plan this obviously but we both agreed to keep the baby no matter what and honestly we're both terrified i understand what you went thru when you said your family would call you names and make the situation worse me and my bf now have similar restrictions to seeing eachother like you and jason did which i understand but he's who i need most rn and im not able to see him much everytime i see my parents or siblings its just awkward they just look at me while im eating or something like that shaking their heads like they are disgusted with me my dad has been very verbal on how he lost trust for me and my bf and my friends don't care too much some express they're opinions but i usually don't listen since its nothing nice im super glad i found your channel i searched teen moms up last night when i couldnt sleep and i found you and one other old video from someone else but you give me a sense of hope and joy bc it seems like you've been thru what im going thru and after watching some of your vids i feel a bit better knowing you could it and that means i can too ik we don't know eachother and probably won't ever but just watching a couple vids has helped so much you don't even know i want the best for my baby and ig i just have to see what the future brings me ❤❤❤ (sry if at some points my grammar was kinda bad)
