This leaves me more wondering if Mike Barnes will also return Cobra Kai Season Five. If Mike Barnes does reappear, will he be an ally to Miyagi-Fang? A foe? Or a wildcard?

@@bensonen6855 There is also the possibility that Mike would resent Silver for using him as a pawn against Daniel and Miyagi which led to Mike ruining his own karate reputation. Mike could join Daniel and Johnny as a morally-ambiguous wildcard ally for his own self-interest. Or Mike could return as a third independent faction competing against Miyagi-Fang and Cobra Kai.

Just finished the season, I was rooting for Eli from the start of tournament. Silver was awesome and chozen is my favorite character in series , ready for season 5 now.

Something tells me Kreese is gonna reform and join with LaRusso, Lawrence and Chozen since Terry Silver is clearly the bigger threat now. I kinda saw that Silver was gonna betray Kreese.

@@theridz1981 I think that the fourth film isn't canon, or just ignored. And for good, if you ask me. Miygaiverse is more solid when it revolves around Daniel and his trilogy.

And i think we may see Johnny & Kreese if Kreese reforms and Johnny forgives him. Chozen is awesome and could probably take Silver & Barnes down by himself but I think plot armour will dictate that Kreese will take down Silver. Silver admitted that he was his weakness, hence why he had to frame him to get him out the way. If Kreese comes back and teams with Johnny (& Daniel and chozen) and now he knows Silvers true motives he will be the one to bring him down, as he knows him best, and will know how to get into his head and predict his moves. The problems they will face will be Silvers money - he can buy his way out of and into predicaments, much like Kreese using his "charm" and Purple Hearts to gain sympathy from the police against Amanda and with the Chair person of the AVT Council in S3
Yes why do I keep getting the feeling season 5 is gonna realese somewhere in the summer because they are already done filming. They gotta do the editing and audio and other stuff

I think it will be Sept/Oct'ish. I dont think they will keep to the New Year release dates as I think that was more down to the pandemic and them being behind schedule with filming. They filmed S1-3 Sept to Dec, and when it went to Netflix it was released Aug time. The pandemic stopped them from filming S4 until Jan so they were behind schedule and Netflix had to spread out the releases of shows & movies so as not to release all their material at once and have nothing else to release. Now they seem back on schedule and back to their normal filming dates of Sept-Dec which is when they filmed S5 this year so I think with S4 now released, and the post-production of S5 we wont see it until Autumn time and then they will start filming S6 in the Sept.
I need to get my hands on Chozen's suit.

But I'm going to make a bold prediction: I have a feeling that what Terry silver did to Kreese is going to be exactly what Chozen will do to Daniel after they get vengeance. Why? If you recall in Karate Kid part 2 there was something that Mr miyagi once said: "honor has no time limit". In traditional Okinawan culture what it means is that a person can hold a grudge forever because they've lost their honor. Chozen has moved on because he was forced to but he never got the actual redemption that he was looking for or the opportunity until now. If there is past the season 6 their rivalry will be renewed in season 7
Now that Daniel and Johnny have go close their dojo chosen can just bring his into the valley because he was never apart of the agreement

Barnes would never side with Daniel and vice versa. But Silver might be bringing in Barnes since nowadays Barnes was supposed to be a part owner in Cobra Kai expansion had they won in part 3.

@@paulsmith9192 He showed some liking to be the bully in part 3 and he probably hates Daniel for humiliating him by taking the win at a local championship when Barnes was a champ known all around the country. He may hate Silver and Kreese for screwing up the original deal since they made him drag out the match with Daniel but he may come back to Cobra Kai if Silver offers him part ownership in the new expansion.
