Little tip for cold winter nights is use a fan or air bag to blow up the mat because the moisture in your breath can freeze taking away its insulation capabilities.
Thanks for showing. The biggest problem I have is finding good quality ones that are wide enough [large bloke very broad shoulders] I am a back sleeper and I find it a problem if my elbows go over the sides and rest lower than my shoulders

Take a look at the Exped extra long and wide mats. I have a 9 and a mega mat. I’m a biggish boy and tried a good few mats and they’re the best I’ve had, their customer service is awesome too.

These new thermarest pads have a none return valve. The Valve is their new twin lock where you trust the yellow tabs to deflate only.

I think the xtherm is their widest pad. You may need to be sitting down when you see the price though.
