So it's official Xbox is becoming a Publisher over anything else
Xbox would've died a decade ago if it didn't have Microsoft money behind it. I think they essentially could've just retired the name entirely after the Xbox One. Everything since has been then focusing more of being MICROSOFT and the PC side of gaming and they're succeeding.
All of the kids in my family want gaming PCs. They don't want PS5s they barely want Xboxs, they want a PC.
Thats Microsoft winning kids while the adults argue that they're not winning anything. Well those kids become adults pretty soon and they're gonna be adults that don't fuck with the PS6.
I'd say Xbox is a ecosystem above all else, where you can access their ecosystem within their platforms or on the platform of your choosing, while also having their own exclusive benefits and perks, with some games exclusive to them, some that are temporary/timed exclusives, and some that are release as Xbox exclusive until they see their max growth. I mean this is essentially what Xbox has been building up to for some time.
No one should be surprised about the Indiana Jones news, besides Xbox choosing to literally cut off their own toes by announcing the release date for Xbox and simultaneously letting everyone know they don't gotta buy an xbox because the game is coming a few months later. No other publisher/platform does that kinda thing besides Xbox. They did that crap with Tomb Raider too lmao. Though I think they did that because they literally got dog piled by damn near everyone for making the game "(timed) exclusive" lol
No. Indiana Jones was not an exclusive game in the contract with Disney and they changed that last year to make it an exclusive game.

@@JTsavage7577 No your save will be fine, just things in your save that uses some mods that aren't official mods will likely be broken and removed from your save game. But achievements obviously get blocked if your save uses a bunch of mods.
Has there ever been much time ( like more than a month or two ) in the last two years that a badass game has not came out probably overshadowing smaller titles?

The "one more thing" announcement for Indiana Jones being that the game is coming to PS5 in spring is not a good look for Xbox

Xbox literally have made it as clear as day that they are ditching exclusivity and pushing Gamepass on the Xbox and selling their games on PlayStation. It’s not a good look that they’re about to make millions more dollars? Yeah okay lol
For "Xbox" yes. But this is a big win for MICROSOFT who is building PC gaming into being something kids want more than a console and now they're building a relationship with Sony.
It's gonna become Sony rules the consoles, Microsoft owns PCs and they don't look at each other as competitors but as allies that can help each other remain the only two kings of their industry.
@@nickthemage2052not really clear as day when they still hide behind the “case by case” argument. These are reactionary to the fact their model is unsustainable. Gamepass isn’t pulling in enough people while canibalizing their game sales. The result is increasing game pass prices for those they do have and being forced to ditch their exclusivity. While I, too, had hoped for a Wolfenstein 3 reveal right before the PS5 announcement, there's of course no way they would do a Wolfenstein reveal at gamescom.

Just a reminder that SAG-Aftra is still on strike against a lot of these publishers for their desire to replace actors with generative A.I.! I know these titles are exciting, but I'm asking and urging those willing to wait until after the strike ends to buy any struck publishers' games instead of buying on day one!

Arkham Asylum is very "I'm out"-able UNTIL you go outside for the first time.
I literally played the game twice over like 8 years and then when l finally picked it up the third time and got to the part where you go outside the asylum, l ended up not putting the franchise down until l was done with the DLC of Knight.
Arkham City is actually the much better game to just jump right in.
I just noticed a big thing that was missing TIM where is he & his hype!

I get we’re here for the reaction from the guys. But jeez man could yall be quiet when people are on stage talking? When those two people were on stage for Lynked they were up there talking about something they’ve dedicated their lives to for 4 years. It’s a new studio. This is a first look of this studio for a lot of the viewers of this stream. Meanwhile Greg just can’t stop making fun of the name while the dude on stage is trying to explain their game. I’m not even someone who comes into the comment section to say mean things about you guys. I’ve actually never commented before. I really enjoy the content you guys make. Truly just leaving this as feedback.
They’ve always done this. They claim to care about devs, but not enough to listen to them speak for a couple minutes

@@aidanparker7536 that I understand. But the making jokes about a new studios first project as they introduce it to the world is just a little off to me. Using the “11 person small business” in so much of their marketing but not letting a new company speak doesn’t make sense to me.
@@aidanparker7536 It's frustrating that these newer studios are trying to make better games but they just stick to the trend bandwagon due to fear of missing out. I know this is their first step in establishing a game but for god's sake make something better for once.

@@abstractoaks I would have been playing GT7 with a wheel and break pedals with headphones on. So even with no headphones probably would have been hard to concentrate. But you're right, any other game besides that I probably could have had it in the background.

@@MrYagami14 I've been a lifelong gamer. I'm an hour in and none of these games look interesting. Almost every game is either an Overwatch clone, a Soulslike, a JRPG or an indie game. Back in the 360 generation we got an awesome AAA game every other month, now we're lucky to get one a year
@fixation9281 We just had less games showcases. It's easy to think that there's all these AAA games when you're only seeing the top 10 games that there are.
Now there's so many games that are okay that come out between all the top hitters and they're also given the same focus to sell themselves.
