I have a Mark VI tenor That plays better than many VIs I have tried and I just bought a supreme tenor and can’t wait to play it. Have a feeling it will make me sell my VI
I am getting me Selmer Supreme Pair this Summer Are they more factory tune Than the Better Sax wen I play my Better Sax Cant hit them low notes It dont sound good much Since it a beginner horn
Awesome! I hope you're enjoying your new horn. Selmers often will need to be set up after they're purchased. If you're having trouble getting lower notes out, you may want to have a repair person check for leaks!
The Mark 6 was extremely inconsistent! They all played differently, and there were a few bad ones. I know, because I had a bad one! They're a great horn, but play it before buying a used one!
Great video, I love your enthusiasm and very well played saxophone!

Nice video. Just one point, no other alto saxophone has a c# correction mechanism but Selmer.
Thank you! I certainly may be mistaken. I know my Yanagisawa soprano has a C# correction. I thought the altos did, too.
Yes the sopranos do have them! Congrats on the new horn I love mine!

What’s your opinion on Yamaha 875ex as a classical musician?
I haven't played one, but I know several very fine players who use one and sound great!
I also play the supreme and love it, you should try to put a cork of a wine bottle in the Bell. The response improves grtz

Perhaps that's part of the allure. Mine, despite being a late model, was quite lovely!
I'd play someone else's Mark VI and would think "what's this? " LOL
Every Supreme I’ve played I’ve really liked but I haven’t liked one enough to sell my 2017 Reference 54 but I’m also not a classical player at all 😂
Those were great horns! I really enjoyed playing on one for a bit.
