Thanks! On a side note, need to take binoculars next time I go to TNT. Maybe I should send one for Trevor. Extended vision changes the relationship with any park or nature site.
Hi Bethany! I hope you got too see some of your favorite characters! Thank you for stopping by. Next episode will have a wild pig, possum, otter and lots of shots of the Northern Harrier. Not too many warblers unfortunately but when there is a deficit in one area, sometimes there is an abundance in others. Hope you get a chance to visit soon.
Yes see ya soon! The wildflowers this year were great but otherwise November has been kinda slow so far. But it's not over yet!!! Thanks for checking out the video!
thanks for asking! i was quite busy these days, but I did make a few trips to go to the La Chua trial to see the great horn owl there (usually before the sunset). Hope to meet you again soon at sweat water! @@bob-cat
OMG, this was amazing. This should go viral. If only everyone could view this instead of the other social media sites, the world would be a much better place. Thank you so much for sharing. Thank you so much for your incredible efforts.
I'm glad you enjoyed the video and the kind comment! RUclips is kind of like democracy for media (ok, that might be a stretch), and what people view might be an indication of who they are. Either way, I'm still contented just hanging out with critters and observing their lives.
Thanks! The gator attacked twice. I missed the first bite but when I saw that there might be a chance of a second attack, I focused in as fast as I could.
Many many many and many hours of patience for this AWESOME 8 minutes video. Wow ! The words are not powerful enough for describing how I'm amazed. I had to look at it several times to appreciate all your work. Thank you so much for sharing. It's always a pleasure for the eyes. But I'd like to know your first name just for my mind.
I am humbled by your comment. Thanks! It is time consuming but I enjoy finding and filming wildlife (editing video....um...not that much). I am called Sunil. Thank you again for stopping by.
Thank you! Well the Magnolia came , spent a week, then left and it took me a while to identify. At least now I know where to look. They hunt caterpillars in the weeds and vines which is plentiful in September
Thanks Sue! The gator attack on the GBH (aka "Kevin") was the second bite.the first bite was a splash to my left so I focused on that area. then I saw the gator moving in closer. I think it was to chase the GBH from babies nearby.
I never get tired of watching umping spiders! They can be hard to film because they always notice the lens (looks like an eye?) and it distracts them from exhibiting their normal behavior. Glad you like em' too :)
Hello,woww....this is really a fantastic video of you with so much beautiful elements in it and wonderful filmed.A feast for the eye and you must have spend a lot of time to film this. You also feel the beauty of the wildlife and gives it an extra dimension with an excellent choice of music. The quality of the images is very good.May i ask what body and lens your are using? Greetings Gijs
Hoy Gijs! Thank you for such a kind comment! I use a Nikon Z6 II and the 800mm 6.3 PF for most shots. Sometimes I'll use the 105mm 2.8 macro and a 20mm 1.8. The 800mm takes some practice to use, but after 9 months I'm more comfortable with it. Biggest issue is slow focus speed and narrow field of view for moving objects. The Z6II can only shoot slow motion in 1080p unfortunately. It will be some time before I upgrade to a Z8 or Z9 for higher quality 4k slow motion. I have the custom buttons programed to switch quickly between settings when I see action happening and that has helped reduce missed shots, but the Z6 II auto focus is not "great", just acceptable. September and October is the autumn bird migration here in North America so there were many birds passing through (but not staying) in the park. That resulted in lots of footage.
@@bob-cat Hello, many thanks for your open dialog and much appreciated.I am a Canon guy and will upgrade next year.Well i know a lot of people with very expensive body's and lenses but they don't get everything out of there equipment or they miss the feeling of editing.I think you are making excellent movies with the equipment you have and like your editing style.!! Greetings Gijs
As always simply stunning.

Another great video. Makes me want to visit the park again soon.
Thanks!! Not a whole lot of new birds for Nov-Dec, but I did get a Virginia Rail..by accident 🤣
Lots of great stuff, especially the gator going after the great blue.

Absolutely beautiful as always! Such a peaceful and calming video! Loved seeing the Magnolia! That’s one I’m still yet to see!

Such a beautifully done video- love all the shots but the one with the gator and GBH took my breath away!
