Damn, these 00 kits looked too good for a kit on their time, it's weird, and i love it! What's more weird is that the 1st 2nd gen ms looked more good than the actual, fully developed ms they used on the series...
Those are called Helions, think of them like early Enacts. And the two GN drive cover types are because the cone type was developed later and was fitted on the Astraea. It didn't work well with the machine's balance though so it was retrofitted permanently to the tri-thruster type.
I always hated that various forms of the Astraea were super hard to find and/or P-Bandai. I really like the Type F with visor, and all the various weapons it "tested" for the main gundams. Especially just the idea of it's mace.
The way that Sword like blade thing folds and has a grip thing, That looks far more secure than the Exia's but in feel I cant say anything, Bcz I don't have this or the Exia, the Exia I'll buy soon (a few days) The Rg was disappointing, Just my kit since most products I buy come in bad-ish stability
@@THEShoky Yeah true, That does look far more secure than the Exia, Since the Exia has a peg and hole type connection point like this but the sandwich styled snap from the side adds a lot to it

@@THEShoky yup,daban which has quite a lot of accessories,i really wanna buy that but it's a bit expensive so all i can do was buy the hg bootleg(white ver),but it also came with a lot if accessories so it's fine

In the case of the HG you're right. The mount surrounds the whole forearm.
