    Is Pregnancy After UFE Possible?
    Patient of Dr. Lipman suffered 4 miscarriages due to large uterine fibroids and finally gave up on having another baby. She came to Dr. Lipman in March and had UFE; in May she found out she was pregnant. The baby was born healthy and fully developed at 9.6 lbs, and fibroids were completely gone! They kept shrinking during the first and second trimester of the pregnancy, and after giving birth, the patient feels happy, healthy, and blessed to have her miracle baby girl.

    I wish this was my story. I had the opportunity to explore my options and was told "oh it's fine you can be pregnant with fibroids". It hurts so much.

      10 years, every OB said don’t do embolization you won’t be able to get pregnant. I have Adenomyosis so it’s different than fibroids. I currently have been bleeding for 2 years this month. My OB just now suggested embolization but said fertility will not be preserved. He referred me to a different OB who performs UAEs and this doctor says the complete opposite! It’s hard to trust. With a hysterectomy the bleeding will stop but I will not have a chance of getting pregnant. At least with the UAE I will still have a chance, it will be decreased but not nonexistent.

      @@mirzalanderos6046 According to this doctor and this story, I don't see evidence of your chance in getting pregnant being decreased it looks like your chance will be increased... Good luck!

      It's about cortisol levels. Nothing to do with diet.

    they said it close blood flow to utrus or only blood flow to fibrod please clarify

    • @Atlii
      @Atlii  Год назад +15

      Don’t listen to “they”. Blood flow to all fibroids is cut off. Fibroids die, soften, and shrink and symptoms start to disappear. Uterus stays completely alive and we’ve had numerous childen born after UFE.

      @@AtliiThat is a comfort to know. I had an abdominal myomectomy and was able to have a beautiful baby boy two years later. But I would NEVER go through that kind of surgery again. Still have a hernia from it. I considered UFE but thought that somehow it put fertility at risk. I’m glad that I found this video. Do you know any Drs in Los Angeles who specialize in this procedure that you’d recommend ?
