Wait, did you not listen or not understand what she was talking about? It took 7 hour to cut and lift. Not to do the entire transformation. That's a pretty normal time for hair as long and thick as hers. It takes me about 5 to 7 hours start to finish, depending on what I'm doing, when I'm redoing my hair. It's really fun to do it myself, it's like therapy lol

It depends who u go to and how much hair u have if u got long thick hair it's be a loy but if u have thin shoulder length hair it can cost from 80$ - 200$ trust me I went to a salon that had 5 stars in my town and they made me pay 160 for then giving me blue and purple hair when I wanted a simple black to white ombre but just last year I found a stylist that pays attention to all my medical needs that my hair can cause for my fibro and ect. And I've never had to pay more then 120

As someone who’s experimented with bright colours a lot I feel like what they never say about rainbow hair is that it’s so much money for so little wear time. You’ll pay hundreds of dollars for it to look this beautiful for a couple weeks then it’ll all fade out in no time and especially fast if you wash it in anything other than ice cold water. If you want long lasting bright lovely hair pick one colour then a shampoo with that colour tint and you can make it last for up to a year without ever needing it to get professionally dyed again!
The thickness is why I have my hair so short. It weighs less on my neck and it saves the headache of my current hair stylist hurting herself trying to clean it all out even

I'm usually pretty conservative about hair color, but this looks absolutely beautiful. I'm an older lady, so I couldn't really wear it myself w/out looking foolish (imo), but younger people would be able to pull it off nicely. The amount of time & skill that goes into something like this is really impressive. You did a marvelous job.

Any time anyone is seen with hair that's not on nature's hair-color chart, it's the topic of discussion in the local grocery store, bank, & diner. To some it sounds like an awful place, & it can be. I've lived here for almost 60 years, so I'm used to it. It's funny though... people here are very supportive of the LGBTQ+ community & mixed race relationships, but rainbow hair freaks them out. Go figure.🤷♀️

I understand about the conservative town as I used to live in one where even people would look at you if you wore a hat 🙄 but I don't think couloured hair has to do with age! not even when I was 20 this would've suit me, I think it's the skin tone, features... where I live now I see women in their 50s and 60s with short hair died in pink, purple or blueish tones, once or several of colours. They're very daring and some of them look actually great on them! They dress accordingly too, not too extravagant but definitely not neutral or classical. If you really wanna do it, go for it and let them talk 😆
Depends if you was your hair out in sections. Some people just don't wash there hair for a while to keep the color, in her case within the first wash she does it's gonna completely faded and it's gonna look really awkward. Hopefully she goes back every 2 or 3 weeks to get it refreshed.
I always thought permanent colours grew out rather than washing out. Shows what I know; I haven't coloured my hair in decades because it's so expensive and I can no longer stand the fumes.

I agree. I am a hairstylist and I am not huge on the rainbow thing. I see so many and its just like eh. But I really thought this one was beautiful. I think it was the lavender overlay that tied everything together and gave it a softened look instead of it being so harsh like they typically are. 😊❤

@@marya494 well depending on how dark of grey etc we have quite a few different options now. We jus got a new toning line from Wella that has some nice grey's...ion also has a bunch of grey's now....almost all of the lines do now. It jus preferences of color and or lines.... Good luck.

They wouldn't make her pay that much more for having thick hair ide assume, I feel like that would be a discrimination situation since people can't control there hair thickness unless they regularly thin there hair with thinning shears.

What they don’t tell you is that you have to have it re-touched very often, and it causes hair loss overtime.
