Decades ago my former BIL went to an orphanage in Guatemala. They had no electricity or running water. The skilled team members built a new orphanage that had both. They had dug a deep well for the water installed a cesspool and taught them how to treat if with chemicals the team will keep providing. They connected them to the power grid and installed electricity with lights and a modern kitchen. Their PA church committed to paying the power bill and maintaining the upkeep of the building and equipment with future visits. The next visit they built a playground. They had big hearts for the children and their caregivers. They sent clothes and supplies with every mission team.
I'm a 65 year old cynical man but the great work that the Osborne Institute globally and domestically does always gets me. Amazing. Kudos to you all and go well.

She had an 8.4 centimeter mass on her thyroid. That's about 3.3 inches. I have an 1.8 mass shaped like a marble on my thyroid and it makes swallowing difficult. I can't imagine how she's been affected. I'm glad they could help her. My heart aches for the woman whose malignant tumor grew out of control during the pandemic. Sadly, like her mother, she will die. If they could have gotten to her sooner she could have been helped. How sad.
