You should know that Taeyong choreographed the chorus. He likes Afrobeat and thought he could improve upon the original version. He made a demo video in one hour and was given permission to teach the members his choreo almost immediately.
Glad to have you back. Good reaction. Yes, Taeyong (black baseball cap) choreographed the first two choruses, and I think he did a great job. And yes, they use a lot of extra dancers towards the end of the music video. I personally love the performance vid, and would love for you to check it out.

Taeyong choregraphed this so this is a bit different from their previous choreos. Their usual choreos are made by professional choreographers but Taeyong has been working on making his choreos for a while now but he could still improve.
I felt the same way about that one middle ripple. It seemed to go somewhere but then it didn’t but other than that. The pacing of this choreo was amazing.

Well since you reacted to nct before you probbably know most sm's dance practices feel like "real" dance practices, meaning that they dont do much expressions or act like they're on stage, unlike some other companies that film their dance practices like a performance video or something. If you want to see expressions you should just react to the dance practice + showcase or stage performance. NCT's usually expressionless and try to do all moves as accurate to the original as possible during dance practices, but you know they're expressive on stage and even improvise when the choreo allows it. For instance, NCT Dream's Beatbox has an "actual" dance practice where they are expressionless and a uniform version where they shot it like a performance vid. I mean no hate, but there's kinda no point complaining about expressions when you know they dont do dance practices like that lol.
