enemies attack faster on hard so if you're in a combat section and think "i can hit one more guy before i press counter," no you can't.
Yeah since I made that video I went and played through Asylum on hard, it's crazy how it can change your playstyle

@@douglasarnold180 I recently just played through the remastered game on hard, and this part was nervewracking. My strategy is to never use anything else other than critical strikes, counter, and dodge. Just let the titan slam into the walls and slowly lower his health, deal critical hits to the henchmen and counter them till you take them down, and when in doubt, dodge dodge dodge

Just played the game again, and this was the only part that gave me trouble.
It's worse than the one with two titans because of the small arena imo, the other is easy to avoid damage in.
Are we not gonna talk about how smooth the 3rd scarecrow encounter was

For future reference, the spire plants that appear around the asylum only activate *that* fast if you don’t sneak up on them. Crouch walking up to them you should be able to plunge your meaty fist into their heart and rip it out
Batman Arkham Videos is a good example for a type of gameplay like this.

Same. I even reloaded the page, and rewound the video by 10 seconds like 3 times before I realized the time was still ticking up as the semicircle spun.
This is probably one of the only games that I am really proud of 100%-ing. Not because it is difficult or because it is prestigious, but rather because I really loved every single second of it whilst I was doing it. A feeling that seems to stray from me every passing second of every day.
I made he mistake of only buying the trilogy (sorry origins) recently and found myself rushing through Arkham with how dated the gameplay felt
@@reece42069 Just because gameplay feels old, need not mean the gameplay is bad. Pac-Man gameplay feels old, as does Rock Man, the original Mario Bros, Donkey Kong, and with some more recent games, they can still feel old, like Shovel Knight. Sometimes, the old, semi-clunky gameplay can feel nostalgic, other times it still holds up years later.
Honestly, just don't bother with the Suicide Squad game and you *should* be fine, unless you've got a hard on for fork knife that surpasses stealth-action games.

5:05 reminds me of a time in Arkham Knight in which Harley was invading the movie studio and I was performing a stealth takedown as the mini gunner turned the corner. Due to the fact it slows down time when you’ve been spotted by an armed enemy, I was forced to sit and watch the barrel on the mini gun begin to spin while Batman just continued to choke out a goon for 5 seconds. After this, he just tore away my already low health with his weapon. If I remember correctly I took great pleasure in watching Batman’s body fly through the air cause I was grappling away when I died lol.

i played this when i was 4 or 5 dont remember too well and i was scared shitless going up to that door like i had nightmares about him man, and then came the boss section, i ran away my dad did it for me lmao

Indeed, out of them all though I can never get enough of the Acting Male
Tip: plants shoot fast when you run, slow when you walk. So if you just walk to them you should have plenty of time to just destroy them. Also quick batarang and triple batarang are your best friend
U mentioned that the next two games are in the Arkham series only suicide squad is Gotham knights is an alternate reality haha but love this video
If you guys dont get the buffering It was right before scarecrow does the 4th wall break where he glitches the game he even changed the cursor of the mouse to "orange as that's the colour that seems to be most vivid anytime Scarecrows toxins are in effect :)" quotes cause those were his words
you do know that for the "murder plants" they attack when you run, meaning do anything other than run and then kill them. heck depending on what type of jump it is, jumping doesn't count I think. if you scan them with detective mode it says they are sensitive to movement.

You can beat the room without cutting him down. Just stand on the edge and slowly walk off to land on the edge of the room's roof them place explosive gel.

It was right before scarecrow does the 4th wall break where he glitches the game, though I would try and recapture some of that 4th wall break for the viewers and judging from the comments it may have worked lol, I even changed the cursor of the mouse to orange as that's the colour that seems to be most vivid anytime Scarecrows toxins are in effect :)

8:24- A trick that l found the most useful for Poison Ivy’s murder plants is to crouch down and go up to them, and then as soon as the button prompt comes up to destroy them, press it. The same thing also works in killer croc’s lair where you can just crouch down then move forward at full speed.
Not being able to use the Batclaw to grab trophies is a glaring oversight in this game, but you can do it in City. I’m guessing that’s why you kept trying it lol.

Actually, the guy in the Joker gas room in the hospital survives crashing through the ceiling and into the floor beneath it. Before you enter that room, you can hear one of the other thugs telling Joker on the radio that "Razor is still in there". Then, in the endgame when they mine the gargoyles in Intensive Treatment, they tell Joker is setting up the last bomb as you enter the room, which Joker then detonates in Razor's face

IDK if this is funny, but it is to me, so there is a channel called Arkham videos and the person did a video where they completed all of Arkham asylum and in the video, they never died they also get all the riddle trophies in 6 hours or so.
You can sneak up on these plants, always worked perfectly for me, and with Ivy I would only throw Batarangs if she opens up

I'm impressed with the Loading Screen.
It didn't get me, because I've played this game before, good try tho, but that YT screen panel? Yeah, that is 100% what one of my recommended video panels would look like. 10/10 nice moves.
If you didn't know, the killer plants can be easily dealt with by sneaking up to them.
I know this is a little late, but to be fair the game tells you about this in the Detective Mode
I recently decided to replay the Arkham series on hard mode, and I had to constantly use this video as motivation for the Poison Ivy fight. I had to keep telling myself “If Nerbit can do this perfectly, I can do this terribly.” After 19 tries, I managed it with a magic pixel. I did however cheese her a bit, buy leaving one brainwashed guard to chase me around as I pelted her with batarangs. They didn’t do shit for damage, but it was easy to dodge her vines, and skip an entire phase of her shooting her orbs

It has been 13 years since Arkham Asylum got released. 13. Years. In the year of our lord 2022, SOMEHOW Arkham Asylum managed to trick me with yet ANOTHER fakeout.
Yes, you could say it was Nerbit that got me, but you can't convince me that this isn't Asylum making a comeback in at least some form.
The scariest part is that during the "fake video end" all this guy's suggested videos are something i would be suggested/watch
