Nowadays WebAr only works well in several devices, because there are some problems with cameras and diferents between browsers. In fact, if you want to make an app that works well you need to develope a app for ios or android. This option has the handicap that user must to install the app, but nowadays is the best solution for a quality app

Hello I sell pictures, paintings to hang on the wall. I was looking for a wordpress plug in that allows you to display my pictures on the walls of your home using your smartphone (both android and apple). The first problem I see is that all plug ins want files in 3D format (very complex to get) and need different files for android and apple.... Is there a smart and simpler solution for those who just need to display flat images? Thanks

You could try living a real experience instead of a pretend augmented one. Life is for real living not a simulation.
look into using Unity and Vuforia, lots of simple applications you can do with the two and they are free. Lots of beginner tutorials for those as well
