I just want to reiterate that you are the reason why I signed up and finished my first marathon with you this past Sunday when I had never run more than 2 miles in one session before. I had an absolute blast high-fiving every kid, "powering up" with every Tap Here to Power Up poster, jamming with the taiko drum groups and cover bands, and so much more. And, it never would've happened without you. Finally, the smiles on my wife and daughter's face when I saw them after I crossed the finish line were ones I'll forever cherish. We were all so proud of what we had accomplished together, and it wouldn't have been possible without your inspiration =)

Running the LA Marathon was amazing for me this year running through Echo Park and Silverlake, knowing that I was homeless and an addict just 19 years ago, living in those cities but now running through in the LA Marathon, a mother and a wife has made me realize how far I have come from then , and how amazing my life has been being since being sober.

Yes! I was there at Dodger Stadium on Sunday morning. My first marathon. It was a lot of fun running with my new running family. Until I lost them due to a porta potty break. 🤷🏻♀️ I did see you after I got my medal, I said a “hello hello Anthony” and I hobbled away. 😂 Your videos sold me on joining LARR so, thank you! Best move ever!

Awesome job! Your pre-race experience was the total opposite of what I went thru in 2023. Took 1.5hrs to park, had to rush to start line and dumped my stuff bc gear check closed. The highlight was seeing you ⭐️
@@runningformybestlife I opted not to run it. I’m instead going back to running the OC Marathon for 2024. I may reconsider LA for 2024 but TBH the parking situation is the worst (that’s why I love the Carlsbad Marathon)
