1999 Turkey: 7.2 Earthquake Simulation!
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 14 мар 2024
- This simulation shows the exact ground movement recorded during the 1999 Duzce Earthquake that occurred in Turkey. #deprem
------------------
These simulations along with my piano music (Spotify/RUclips: @pardonmypiano ) are part of my lifelong project called "In Terra Pax" that aims to bring financial and emotional support to victims affected by earthquakes around the world.
------------------------
I hope my simulations will educate the general public about potential earthquake related hazards and create more curiosity about Earth Science in general. I do also hope that my videos will inspire a future generation of amazing architects, engineers and scientists! We all need to peacefully work together to make this world a better place. :)

i see that he isn't over exagerating the ground shaking anymore!
Yes xd
All I did was plug in the seismogram recordings from these earthquakes. One thing that I missed was sometimes changing the fps from 25 to 30. So it appeared faster but the physics was correct 😁
@@EarthquakeSimwait so that time you simulated the magnitude 8.0 earthquake on the Californian house, that is what a magnitude 8 earthquake would feel like with an intensity of XI?
I love these videos of re-enactments of past earthquakes, greetings from Colombia
Thank you for watching! I will be doing more ❤️
I LOVE seeing these shaking videos!!! continue like that EarthquakeSim!!!
Thank you so much friend!!
Do Tōhoku Earthquake next please!! 👍💜
Magnitude: 9.1
Intensity: IX, Shindo 7
My mother and grandmother remember this earthquake very well. My mother came home about half an hour before the earthquake and she was showing a catalog of new bags being sold at her workplace to my grandmother. After a while the earthquake started shaking violently and it lasted around a minute. According to the USGS ShakeMap data for our area it is recorded as being felt as M4.2, but my mother and grandmother disagree with this. According to them the apartment building we live in shook so violently that it felt like it would collapse.
p.s. During the 17 August 1999 M7.6 Golcuk Earthquake the apartment building we live in got damaged lightly 💀
I love ur vids are so betiful :D
Hi! Can you please to the DC tower in Vienna with different earthquake stages? Love your videos, keep up the good work! ❤️
Hopefully very soon! I am planning to do many more builds 😊 thank you for watching!
Wow! My dad felt this one, although low intensity. Nice video.
You should try bridges and roads with moving vehicles. 😊
Love always you're videos but a prefer a lot more the video with the real sounds of the earthquake!!☺️
Sure! They will come back! Half of my subscribers prefer music the offer half prefers real sounds🙃
Can u do the 7.2 mexicali earthquake?
I experienced this earthquake, it was very bad.
thanks for your feedback! what city?
Short frequency waves. Interesting
Yes they are!! So interesting to see them
@@EarthquakeSim exactly, the damage is so different compared to long waves.
1999 is a lot more scarier, but the 2023 became so terrifying in Turkey and Syria.. Hope this countries will be soon be renovated.
Nice vid Changed my name lol
please tell me how to play this game?
1985 México city Earthquake y gap de Guerrero Earthquake de magnitude 8.1 a 8.2 scenario México city
i want to see earthquake comparison in big office
I did that before. Have you watched it?
oh really
Pls 1999 izmit earthquake bro
Izmir Earthquake was higher in magnitude but the shaking is twice less
izmit (not izmir) earthquake actually had 167.03 cm/s pgv while düzce had 114.51 cm/s pgv
also izmit earthquake caused a 125km fault rupture@@EarthquakeSim
im not saying that düzce earthquake was weak earthquake it was strong but izmit had stronger shaking@@EarthquakeSim

Thank you so much for doing what I said😀
Yep😁😁 it was long awaited
