Watching what you and your buds have accomplished,, reminded me of something my ol Grand dad once told me,, TALENT is really nothing more than DESIRE surrounded with a gob of TIME DOING. You ARE TALENTED!
Happy to support anyone who is willing to work their ass off to get what they want and get ahead. Especially a small business owner like myself because there are no days off when you own your own business and destiny.
It's unfortunate that some people have no appreciation of what hard work is like. Why people feel as though they can make prying comments about you and your business is non of their business. Myself I do understand the amount of time that is put into projects that we have never done before. I think your end result is the drive that give us pride on of our efforts. Nice job. You should be proud
You should be proud of yourself dude. It looks great! People kill me when they think they have the right to know about your finances. None of their damn business. Again, super job man!
Toot you horn brother! You earned the right! Been remodeling 2 homes since October while running a business and raising 2 boys. It has been a struggle, but the results have been worth it!
You've never done this before.... You could have fooled me. Keep pushing forward, your hard work will pay dividends. I really enjoy your videos. You really capture the spirit of DIY! Congrats!!
I love seeing anyone build up a dream with their own two hands. I built my shop a few years back with my own hands while working full time and working all of the overtime I could to fund the project. I started my own motorcycle repair shop that I still do while also working full time as a certified CNC machinist. So I say to your hater, keep trolling because that's all your probably good at and you probably couldn't drive a nail if it was in your passenger seat. My only concern about what you've done so far is the decision to install a glass see thru door at the rear of your building. Would have thought a solid steel door would have been much more secure. Anyway, the work you have finished so far looks amazing.
Ya don't need apologize for nuth'n Nickki,, we very glad you choose to allow us share some time with you via RUclips. You're kill'n it Son! Keep on keep'n on Son!
i know its not anybodys buisness where utubers get their money for spending on whatever they want , but put yourself in the viewers shoes , were wondering how it works , there has got to be 10 to 20 of yous guys setting up dream shed/workshop/compound's , 2 in your town alone. dont get me wrong i love it good viewing (it really is a thing ) . i think the fact that we dont see you guys actualy going to work where you get paid a wage . makes us wonder where the money comes from . im a contract welder/fabricator have worked for myself most of my life done alright for myself own my own place (couple of acres home, shed , truck , cars , bikes ,toys ) , im 62 and im still in awe of what some of you young fellas have . most people cant see the day that they will own their own home never mind a massive shed/workshop/compound most people cant see themselves with a trailer like yours mate .budget might be a good twist to this project maybe ? just my thoughts , looking forward to more building content mate ! and tell alex shes not puting up enough shop content
The more success you have the more the haters will try to get at you but take solace in knowing that if they are there YOU my friend are kicking!!!!!!!💪 Keep focused on your life and dreams ,I don’t even know you and I’m proud of you ✌️👍
“Legitness” lol love it. You did an awesome job on that building the ol boy that’s complaining about your wall is upset because he doesn’t have a wall that nice. Keep on keeping on brother.
This is gonna sound weird… but dude I am super proud of you. I never gave you a fair shot when I first found out about you but since you started putting up videos again on this project, I’ve been tuned in. I’m a fan of your never give up attitude and your positivity, and the fact that you don’t accomplish something and say “I accomplished this but the rest of you probably can’t do this”. Instead, you’re an encourager. What you’re doing is probably why others have passed on those buildings. It’s hard to buy a commercial property (or even a residential one) and afford to have someone do all the demo/reno work and either afford it or for sure come out ahead. You were willing to dig in and make something out of very little and put the sweat equity in. I’m pulling for you brother!
Maybe just me but looks like you work your ass off to afford this a little at a time and do majority of the work yourself. Thats why I have so much admiration for you and what you are accomplishing here. Hats off Nick!!! Now if we can get all those Views into Likes!! Its free folks, Push The Button!!
Another perspective on the "How does he pay for it" questions... I've bought a lot of foreclosed and distressed properties over the last 9-10 years. I put in a huge amount of time and effort to renovate them into rental properties (meaning sweat equity). At this point, business is very good. Valuations are up, etc, etc... I'm eager to talk to people about the business, mostly because rentals are not that difficult of a business, and for those willing to put in the time its a great way to build some wealth that can be passed on. So, I'd encourage people like you to give a basic explanation (when and were appropriate) of your business, mostly to show people the result of hard work and maybe to encourage other younger people to get after it and make something of themselves. That said, the world is still filled with those people who would complain about how heavy it is when you hand them a bar of gold... I was happy to see on the Cash Days show. Great content. Keep it up.
Congrats boy, that's a awesome Job right there my friend. We the subscribers are so proud of you and all the hard work you put in that building, is amazing so keep going and GOD BLESS YOU AND ALL THE PEOPLE THAT HELP YOU IN THIS PROJECT.
If it’s not too late and you can get the pieces for a reasonable price, run the garage door tracks up the wall another section or more and give yourself extra headroom. Well done on the entire project so far. 👍
Just a little help with the different parts of a wall frame. The vertical members are studs ,the horizontal members are plates and the cut in horizontals are nogs or dwangs. Least as that is what we call them here in New Zealand. Then the horizontals above the doors and the windows are called headers. Any ways hope this helps. Keep up the great work you are doing great.
GREAT JOB DUDE TOOT AWAY! I'm in construction and for you do the hours you did is amazing and you did most of it alone. as for the hater F him. yeah it must be nice staying up for almost 24hrs doing the work of a entire crew! I do everything my self and I'm the opposite of you my hobby is hot rod building and my job is construction and there is no better feeling when you do something you never done and it come out great. once again great job
Love the racecar video's but really enjoy seeing your make your dreams come true. As for the commenter I see your income coming from blood sweat and tear bud. remember haters hate because they envy you. building looking great bud.
100 times better than when you started. A little worried about the full glas door thoiugh. Nice to have some light coming in though. Enjoyed seeing the progress
Bro that looks sick!! Great Job man you did awesome and a well deserved sleep after you finished that night. Lovin the content Nickky keep em comin brother 🙌🏾
Shop is looking good! As tall as your ceilings are it would be a good investment to buy a 12 foot fiberglass step ladder. Bought one when I built my shop and really handy when you need it.
Looks FN Awesome. Don't overlook the fack that that glass door is like a 1K$ to replace and sadly a target for Rocks. Either vandalism or by accident like mowing. (Expanded metal on the outside of the glass or Perforated Hex Grill Mesh looks better. don't know if you read it but I mentioned in the last video those flat rocks would look awesome as a walkway to the main door and either come out as far as you can in front of the garage door or just do like the old days where there was just two rows for the tires to drive on. And put crushed rock or sod in between them and just grow grass. Then you're not tracking and shit and it would look amazing. Good job man.
Probably close to the same feeling I had the minute the dudes got done building my tiny 28x36 shop. I had to wait till I was a grouchy 50yo to afford that. lol You're doin good things NB . congrats!
Awsome job Nick, just laugh at the haters jealousy is great n gets u know ware, not gona lie I was bumd that u pulled a Big chief on us ( leaven ur whole life behind cause of a girl but as long as ur happy thats all that matters, people do miss watchn u n the boys (Colton) in the shop building hot rods, but new shop lookn great n nothn but the best of luck to u man!!!!
Looks great, nice work! The only thing I would have done different is take out the 90 degree bend in the door track and installed the track so the door goes straight up the wall.
Dude just do your thing don't worry about what people think or say we are proud to see people doing good for their self keep the good work up fuck the haters do you
Hi Bobby. This looks great. and Please, Please, I beg of you. Take care of the Roof water drainage. If water runs back behind the gutters, your going to be right back with mold problems and seepage into the new space, or another space. Remember that Water will seek it's own level and run and or crawl up a wall space and sit and ruin everything. 👍✌
Just wanted to let you know that I herd your long travel set-up mentioned on a Sally's Speed Shop video the other day and I was proud of you! Great job on the building, lookin Good!
Awesome job! Haters love to hate independent people that can accomplish things that would cost the hater much more to have someone hired to do. Being resourceful and learning as you go is a rare superpower these days.
Doing a Great job! You just figure it out, that is how we all learned many years ago before RUclips. Proud of your work ethic and desire to build something better and do the work yourself.
Good job bud! I try to teach my kid the same thing. You ain’t never going to know if you can do it until you try to do it. Sometimes all you need to be is RUclips certified lol

I really appreciate the window into your life as you POSITIVELY forge your path forward. The back story is your story...the cars are the benefit of building a solid life. Your doing it your way and putting in the work!
I don't know you and I am proud of all the work you have done! You have figured it out as you go, experience is the best teacher.

Love the response to the hater. Finances are personal. The shop is looking awesome. You should be proud!!!

Before you do too much more, think about staking out a small spot for a nice little patio area to catch some fresh air and fire up the grill.
Grear job--I would weld up a metal bar door for the inside of that glass walkthru-would help keep the thieves out !!!
I understand the excitement of completing and making something look even better than before doing a great job
“Legitness” lol love it. You did an awesome job on that building the ol boy that’s complaining about your wall is upset because he doesn’t have a wall that nice. Keep on keeping on brother.

Looks great man. Save yourself some head space and run that door straight up the wall. It won't interfere with lighting that way, as well.
