Jorge Lozano I would love to! It’s really hard with kids and my illustration schedule. When I finish my book contract I may take a year and go all in on making videos and traveling.
What a pleasure it was to watch you capture the landscapes without a camera! I liked the looseness of these paintings! You broke loose and I plan to do the same. Appreciated hearing your thoughts too! Growing with you. :) Hello to your wife and thank her for playing her part! You work very well together! :)
I’m reminded of Sargent’s transition from painting portraits in oil to his masterful watercolors in Venice. It’s great to see your sketching process - watching the landscape studies was fantastic. Great video Cesar. 👊🏻💯
You inspire me Cesar. I purchased products from NITRAM as you suggested, and the liquid charcoal works very well. I wish I had your training. Thanks for sharing & blogging, I really appreciate it and I am learning from you. I love & enjoy this type of art. All the best to you and yours on your tour. I dream of having the opportunity to travel, explore and paint like your doing, to really see & experience America, This Great Country. But I get to see it through you. Perhaps some day I can journey myself. As for now Happy Painting, Happy Trails Cesar
I'm happy for you Cesar. I enjoyed watching you sketching and explainin your thinking process behind it. I really want to get into gouache too maybe my painting might improved a bit.
Too bad you missed Minneapolis. Some of the finest art galleries in the world. Really enjoying the sketch book work and the wealth of information you are sharing. Thank you.
Hi Cesar, I bought a print of a Tissot called "A spring afternoon". I cannot find an image of the original online anywhere or in his list of works. I was wondering if you knew if it was actually a Tissot painting or if someone else really did it. Written on the back on the board in permanent marker is "the three lewer ladies" and then three names of the women in the painting I think, and what appears to be their DOD. Help xx
@@santocesart Oh I love it! It would be nice to know where the original is so I can see it one day. It has a new lovely spot in my french 19th century inspired cottage bedroom.
@@santocesart I mean, maybe as a Pro you can see through blacked muted colors in the sunglasses and paint a pure light green, ocher etc... But for me that will be another redundant complication while painting. P.S. I'm your fan and asked you with all respect!
haha yup. fun series, i used to go freight hopping when i was homeless.. so i'm enjoying the travel aspect to these recent videos. Viva Freedom,, salud !

jalopy2222 ah thank you so much. That means so much to me :)
Very fun to see you painting and sketching on the go. It is interesting to see how you paint in a quick style rather than your usual realistic method.

In many ways she is!
Hi! What kind of painting do you use? Oil painting or acrilic?

How long did it take to do the landscape?
About an hour
Hi, Cesar! You are inspire me in all of your videos. But I have a professional question for you: it is ok to wear sunglasses while plein air painting?
I did, am I in trouble? Lol. I guess is OK.
