I get it but I this game is a lot more competitively driven, which I like. I get tired of playing cod with everyone so obsessed with kd and actively throwing games because of it. Gotta learn how to play to win.

Ubi already launched a BR and it was a disaster, whoever is saying that XD needs a BR must not know that. People are dying to have what they don't have, if you make a BR they will say ''we need an MP'' if you make an MP they will say ''we need a BR'' LOL. Today we have several BR options to play, Fortnite more ''childish'', PUBG ''realistic'' and Warzone a mix of both. We don't have any big MP besides COD, much less a free one. I think that only when the game launches and these people test the game will they stop talking about SBMM on XD. They sound like the crazy people who say the earth is flat.

If a bro is in the works we may as well kiss the idea of it goodbye until 2034. Battle royales are not a need for every game. It's not even a want. I've never even had the thought of an XDefiant BR because that's not what this game is out to be. Leave that idea in the gutter.
I’d like to see a co-op game mode like spec ops Terrorist hunt from rainbow six Vegas just for when you want to take a break from multiplayer, but you still wanna play defiant you got a co-op mode
The best way to keep a game healthy and alive is to let the community create their own fun. Halo and CS are the prime examples of long living communities (mainstream Halo is losing it though) because the devs provided the players with tools to create their own fun, and when those activities are genuinely good, they get put into official matchmaking. There's a reason why Halo 2 was the biggest selling game when it came out, and CS is still going strong since the 90s.
I don't want a br. Br is so washed out now. I like multiplayer because i can get in and just get into fights back to back without a care in the world if i die. But i do hope they bring snd because i love a fast paced 1 life mode. And with the abilities in the game i think it would make for some very fun games.
Let them focus on 6v6.

Im fully against the idea of introducing br in game but they can actually add a extraction shooter mode but still it didn't make sense in a arcade shooter

For me to play it. it must have a BR. basic multiplayer is not enough anymore, for the majority of the player base, end of story. IF they dont eventaully release a BR, X-defiant will not succeed in the long run.
Maybe a zombies mode for the PvE people, but no BR needed.

We don’t need another call of duty clone. Let them have their Warzone. This game does not need a battle Royale to survive. I don’t quite understand why XDefiant fans are desperately asking for so many call of duty features and modes.
Apex is the only BR ive truly enjoyed, but with that being said im so sick of this BR infested gaming industry in regards to the fps genre

as a dude that quit cod since 2018 i was a god then then warzone came i was a god too over 3kd then xdefiant beta released i am a casual i never played ranked and even in cond multi theres a lot better players than me but i casually had 30+ kills in every gamemode an on x it took me one game to drop my first 50 if u cant and its too sweaty for u just take the time to learn the game better
Hi i used to play apex professionally I completely agree game is fucking miserable to watch and even worse to play its just rotate setup hold repeat till last circle. I quit 4 years ago when valorant came out and i just dont compete in games at all anymore. But from random andys in the comments that @ me lying just look up my name XD Apex scene didnt have money in it back then why i quit. That being said i dont think XDefiant needs a BR. i genuinely think people are dried out of BRs and tired of them. The reason more people play warzone over MP is cause warzone is free. I think XDefiant being free and focused on 6v6 is exactly why it will do well.

I don’t understand the argument for no SBMM that sometimes youll smack sometimes you get smacked. In my experience that’s not true at all. That’s my experience with SBMM. I win and pop off when it’s my turn to win and i get destroyed when it may turn to lose. In both xd betas my matches were very consistent. I am not a great player and im not terrible but i was CONSISTENTLY in the middle of the score board averaging around 20-25 elims. It was very refreshing going into a match with a rough expectation/goal. if i hit 20 elims i was happy. If i got more i was happier. If i got less i felt i felt i could have done better

Comp apex is significantly better when you can watch specific teams pov and hear there comms, strategy, and intensity of fights. Unfortunately twitch removed the command center and the main stream is pretty boring

I wish it had a br as those are the modes I play most now days. I play mp once in a while but to me its boring stale small maps funneling people like rats. I wouldn't buy Xdefiant, but I will definitely play it for free.

When any shooting game has a battle royole mode like Call of Duty and Fortnite it just ruins the fun in the game itself because it makes the games feel the same. Thats why most triple a shooting games are boring and repetitive because its the same thing plus with the battle passes and buying guns and shit. There was a time when shooting games weren't like that and every triple a shooting games just felt different

No matter how many maps and game modes they add I will get bored after 2 months. You add a BR in going to actively play it way more. And CS had a BR mode I don't know if it still does since moving on to cs2.
