As a Swede,I'm so over the hate on Sweden's entries. Swedes write and produce songs for other countries, and those entries hardly ever get that hate. So I'm pretty sure it's not about the songs.
Really appreciated your takes on Sweden. Im really not feeling the jage towards sweden. People are obviously jealous because sweden does so well and it shows because Melfest had become super popular outside sweden aswell the last couple of years
M&M live in Norway, but they aspire to have a career in Sweden and abroad. I understand why they participate in Melodifestivalen instead of MGP. Just look at the difference in staging in the two countries. M&M also won the swedish version of The Masked Singer in 2022 - that's why participating in Melfest in 2023 made sense too.
I have to say that you have had THE BEST reaction of how the basching on Sweden is and how unfair it is to make so much hate on us. Construktive critic ok and if you don´t like it scroll on. you should always pay respect for every artists that compeet, they all work hard for this with pride, don´t you haters take that away from anyone. Your thoughts on the song is ok i think. Some youtubers take the chainsaw directly and don´t like anything about the entry without any construktive thougts. I can say that most Swedes don´t watch eurovision as much as melodifestivalen. It is a great festivity in the vinterdarkness we have, something we can gather around. I also would like more different songwriters go into the competition, then it could be a little bit variation. But we love popsongs and that´s a part of our musical culture, i think if we send a song in swedish i still would be pop. Why marcus and Martinus is competing for Sweden is beacuse they got signed for a swedish managment after corona, witch upheld their career. Since then they have worked very hard to come back and try to go from child artists to adult artists. Why Marcus mayby sings more can be that he have a bigger range in his voice, Martinus says that his brother is the better singer. I don´t know if i agree, they both sings very vell. They won The Masked singer in Sweden as Spelmannen and alterned singing. I think a lot of national finals are becoming more popular but Sweden just does it so well in my opinion.
