My grandfather suffered from a stroke many years ago and the hospitals blocked us from caring for him and sent him to a facility. Not only did we have to pay for the cost, but we had to fight for him in court to gain guardianship. We lost many months but ultimately got him out and together provided around the clock care until his last days. These systems can be awful.

That’s odd. We have someone at our job, the only reason we got the court involved is because we’ve been trying to get a hold of the emergency contact/HCP and can’t get a hold of her and the pt needs decisions to be made for him. I’m sorry that happened to you
I have a VERY unpopular opinion and I havent watched the series so my opinion is subject to change BUT!........what if this is a repeat of Britney Spears to ensure the conservatorship? Her dad (BS) allowed cameras to continue controlling the narrative and steal for her? What if we're being showed Wendy at her worse only? Without this narrative, there is no way her son or family can break this. I'm in no way denying that she has the health issues
The difference between Bruce Willis and Wendy Williams is that Bruce Willis is surrounded by love. And those around him truly love him and looking out for him not draining him for his money. My heart truly breaks for wendy. No human being should be treated like that. They will drained out all her money until she is no longer breathing.

Her mind is in a fog constantly. Dementia is a disease where the brain cells slowly die. Decisions have to be made for her now. When to eat, drink, take your medication, sleep, exercise, etc. She needs 24/7 care and supervision. 😐😑

Yes Fumi a Trust, will, power of attorney and medical directives are a MUST! Wendy says her money is for her son. So who the heck is Wells Fargo Bank to say otherwise? Hmmm. Unfortunately, in Wendy's case, she will need a guardian and/ or conservator. She lacks the capacity to make sound decisions. Hopefully, someone in her family who truly has her best interests in mind will be able to petition for guardianship.

Fumi , I was a caretaker for seven family members, and I sincerely believe the program showing Wendy’s life is a public service. People have no idea how hard caretaking is. The worst patient is one with dementia. If is as if their personality either flips and they become the opposite of their life long disposition. Nice people become mean and abusive and mean become kittens. I would also caution criticism of Wendy’s ex husband, first this has been going on a long time and frankly living with an alcoholic and drug abuser is a living hell. So just encourage people to pray for all concerned, we don’t and won’t know the full story. I’m an old head and I am so grateful for your sharing your wealth of knowledge. Thank you! Many times you have brought me to tears with you compassion and honesty.
I feel so bad for their son Kevin, the things he had to witness, went through and still going through at his young age is very sad and traumatizing, I hope he gets help because this is a lot! I pray Wendy get the help she so desperately needs🙏🏽

I watched the documental today and it made me sad to see Wendy like that. She clearly is not doing fine and that Will manager is the rudest and less professional manager ever seen. On the other hand: why no one from the family moves in with her and takes care of her? this is a common thing to do in Spain ( for instance). We respect our elders. She is surrounded by leeches trying to get money out of her and it is beyond sad.

Another important factor is to remember that Wendy lost her mother too. She's experienced so many losses. My mom is 93 and still living. At 63 she's my best friend like Wendy's mom was her best friend. I cannot imagine what it's like to lose a mother on top of everything she's going through. Mothers make you feel safe and their love is unconditional. I can't imagine how she's feeling right now.
I also think that Will, I believe he’s her manager not sure and also Shawn do not have her best interests at heart. She’s an alcoholic and yet, Will forbade her not to drink, but he had a cocktail in front of her. Shawn said that Wendy knows her limitations with alcohol. WHAT?!?!
As heartbreaking it is to see it's a reality people of walks of life are going through or have gone through. In the long run I think this might actually help her and bring to light something we are not aware of.And it's a reminder to take care of your trauma , physically, mentally, spiritually This goes so deep open your eyes and not only the ones you see with.

This documentary , left me shaken😢! This was so so sad. Seeing Wendy like that, I had to call my mum up last night and talk to her and remind her how much I love her. Can't imagine my own mother going through anything like that and us the kids/ family not giving all the TLC she deserves. It was hurtful to watch, I must say!!!! Her family needs to fight hard and get full control to take care of her. No nursing homes, hospitals but FAMILY!!!! That Manager and support staff must all leave her alone. I couldn’t even watch it in totality! It was too painful to watch! I too was shook to my core! It makes you question a lot after watching this! Having your heartbroken is very hard. No one can deny that going through her divorce was a big part of Wendy’s decline. I too will be praying for her and her family to be reunited.
I love her for speaking up about her health the entire time. a year ago when she signed to do this. she know what was getting ready to happen. she also was being ignored about the symptoms she was having. no one took time to have a doctor look into it.
If the courts have decided that Wendy must live with a guardian full time, I don't understand why the guardian can't live in a house with Wendy's family. That's not unusual. Wendy, her family, and her guardians could all live in the same place.
This story was so hard to watch, i agree the house was a mess and that 'will' person cursed at wendy and talked crazy to her....and how dare that shawn woman take her to nbc for that interview with wendy out her mind, i was embarressed for wendy. They act like they care but wendy didnt even have food in the house and who the hell kept bringing her bottles. Im glad this aired and shes doing better and i hope her family can get her back! I will also say that there is likely a reason why a family member was not granted guardianship by the judge. I wonder if her son's excessive spending cast a suspicious shadow on her family? It made me think they are so glued to looks and glamor, they ignore what's in the heart and her mind! No makeup or pink fur can cover up mental health. I believe that was done in an attempt to placate us, get everyone to stop questioning what they are doing in regard to Wendy's health, Where abouts and her money. Wendy son is being robbed of his time with his mother and of his inheritance. If nothing is done to end these guardianships soon, they will drain every penny of Wendy's money, leaving her son penniless. Bruce Willis is not scurried away in some facility that's costing hundreds of thousands of dollars, he is with his family. Why is the Black woman not with her family? Who exactly are they allegedly protecting Wendy from? Her sister is willing to take on guardianship of her sister. Kevin Jr. also wants his mother with him. We all must bring pressure to bear by demanding answers. Keep the focus on these guardians. Seek transparency and accounting from them. Reach out to her family to support them. Hmmm. Unfortunately, in Wendy's case, she will need a guardian and/ or conservator. She lacks the capacity to make sound decisions. Hopefully, someone in her family who truly has her best interests in mind will be able to petition for guardianship.
It may be beyond her family's capacity or interest to care for her fill time. But I don't understand how not even her son can oversee her care and remove her from NY.

Fumi , I was a caretaker for seven family members, and I sincerely believe the program showing Wendy’s life is a public service. People have no idea how hard caretaking is. The worst patient is one with dementia. If is as if their personality either flips and they become the opposite of their life long disposition. Nice people become mean and abusive and mean become kittens. I would also caution criticism of Wendy’s ex husband, first this has been going on a long time and frankly living with an alcoholic and drug abuser is a living hell. So just encourage people to pray for all concerned, we don’t and won’t know the full story.

I have not watched the filming of Wendy, all I have seen is clips. My heart cries out for her and I am praying for her and her family. I say a special prayer for son that he turns to faith in God to bring him through this emotional time.

I watched the documental today and it made me sad to see Wendy like that. She clearly is not doing fine and that Will manager is the rudest and less professional manager ever seen.
On the other hand: why no one from the family moves in with her and takes care of her? this is a common thing to do in Spain ( for instance). We respect our elders.
She is surrounded by leeches trying to get money out of her and it is beyond sad.

Another important factor is to remember that Wendy lost her mother too. She's experienced so many losses. My mom is 93 and still living. At 63 she's my best friend like Wendy's mom was her best friend. I cannot imagine what it's like to lose a mother
on top of everything she's going through. Mothers make you feel safe and their love is unconditional. I can't imagine how she's feeling right now.

This documentary , left me shaken😢! This was so so sad. Seeing Wendy like that, I had to call my mum up last night and talk to her and remind her how much I love her. Can't imagine my own mother going through anything like that and us the kids/ family not giving all the TLC she deserves. It was hurtful to watch, I must say!!!! Her family needs to fight hard and get full control to take care of her. No nursing homes, hospitals but FAMILY!!!! That Manager and support staff must all leave her alone. She must be with only her loved ones in order to get that peace, calmness, Love, security and a quiet environment to recuperate. My ❤❤❤❤❤ to Wendy and her family, Oh this is Sad!!!

I love her for speaking up about her health the entire time. a year ago when she signed to do this. she know what was getting ready to happen. she also was being ignored about the symptoms she was having. no one took time to have a doctor look into it.
If the courts have decided that Wendy must live with a guardian full time, I don't understand why the guardian can't live in a house with Wendy's family. That's not unusual. Wendy, her family, and her guardians could all live in the same place.
This story was so hard to watch, i agree the house was a mess and that 'will' person cursed at wendy and talked crazy to her....and how dare that shawn woman take her to nbc for that interview with wendy out her mind, i was embarressed for wendy. They act like they care but wendy didnt even have food in the house and who the hell kept bringing her bottles. Im glad this aired and shes doing better and i hope her family can get her back! I dont understand why they cant see her or get her back. Clearly these people in her life right now need to be investigated especially that 'will' person.....who in the hell was paying for all his diamonds and designer clothes?????? Unfortunately bulging eyes are a symptom of Graves disease which she suffers from on top of everything else.

She needs urgent medical attention ( for a long period of time). I can't understand what's happening. This is a very urgent situation that needs urgent compassionate attention. Heartbreaking! It made me think they are so glued to looks and glamor, they ignore what's in the heart and her mind! No makeup or pink fur can cover up mental health. The points you made in comparing her situation to Bruce Willis are spot on, I have been leaving these same comments on every RUclipsr platform that I follow in an attempt to get everyone watching and commenting to join together to bring public scrutiny to why these guardianships are in place without her family being in control or even involved. I don't believe Wendy had anything to do with that statement that was put out. I believe that was done in an attempt to placate us, get everyone to stop questioning what they are doing in regard to Wendy's health, Where abouts and her money. Wendy son is being robbed of his time with his mother and of his inheritance. If nothing is done to end these guardianships soon, they will drain every penny of Wendy's money, leaving her son penniless. Bruce Willis is not scurried away in some facility that's costing hundreds of thousands of dollars, he is with his family. Why is the Black woman not with her family? Who exactly are they allegedly protecting Wendy from? Her sister is willing to take on guardianship of her sister. Kevin Jr. also wants his mother with him. We all must bring pressure to bear by demanding answers. Keep the focus on these guardians. Seek transparency and accounting from them. Reach out to her family to support them. There is power in numbers.

Wendy's family is leaving a lot out, especially, about not knowing her location. First, hire a PI. Second, sue the powers that be.
