@@alfonsog5136 the driving was pretty fun actually! It was weird for like an hour, being used to driving in California, but I got used to it real quick and it felt almost natural. Advice tho, the ETC card you get from them is a credit card that charges each time you go thru a gate. You’d have to pay whatever charges on the credit card when you return the car. And also, learn Japanese! I had a little issue at a tollgate so I had no choice but to converse and explain my rental car situation in all Japanese, it was stressful to say the least 😅 which car you renting??
@ awesome I’m pretty excited! I managed to rent the r34. I’m working on some Japanese but honestly would probably resort to a translating app. What type of issue did you encounter that way I kinda lookout in avoiding it. Also are the ETC tolls automatic or would I have to scan a tap card ? Thanks.
@@alfonsog5136there was one toll where the gate didn’t open and I had to pay the woman, that was quick. Another toll was in the countryside mountain where the guys wouldn’t come out of their building to look at my paperwork explaining my ETC card thing. Eventually they came out after 30min of back and forth talking and they called Omoshiro. Everything was cleared up, BUT that time that was wasted cost me a drive up Mt. Nokogiriyama 🥲 aka the hairpins where Han taught Sean how to drift in the movie
How was the driving over there ? I reserved a vehicle through them for my upcoming trip in January.. any pointers or tips ? Cool video 👍
