I wouldn't say Shiba Inu blew up because it had a recognizable name...it blew up because it was piggybacking off of the Doge craze when it skyrocketed to $0.77. Doge had a a shiba as its image so Shiba Inu played off of that. The real question is would it have been as popular had Doge coin had no mascot (or that it too was considered a meme coin)? Probably not
