I own a number of portable power stations (including Ecoflow and Bluetti), from under 100WH up to around 3000WH, and I scarf down reviews of various units when I see them. There are some technical reasons about input voltage and connections which explain why no Pecron has ever made my "short list," but I believe in this case you got a bad unit. These devices have been well-reviewed in detail by a number of channels that review many of this type of product (Hobotech and Jasonoid come to mind), and they have scored well in their objective tests. I've read any number of reports of issues with Ecoflow (especially the original River, which I have), such that I suspect that a QC failure is possible with any unit. Another channel I know returned a Bluetti for issues.
Send your Pecron back for warranty replacement. That won't eliminate that monstrous charging brick, but hopefully you get back a unit that works.

They sent this Iverson for review, which h I sure they did with those other channels. Maybe it was a bad unit, but I would think they would have checked before they sent it over. That's on them

I had an E2000LFP that had an issue where the fan regularly wouldn't turn off. Even with the AC and DC outputs turned off it would continue to run until it drained the battery to zero. Could be a similar issue with the unit in this video. I ultimately returned it for a refund. I have the E600LFP by Pecron and love it.

I've had a Pecron 1000 for 3 years and have used it to power my fridge and other devices during power outages.
In between uses, I charge it 2x/year. Pulling it out of storage after 6 mos it never reads less than 99%.
Yes, the A/C charging unit makes a little fan noise, but I can't hear it if I move to another room. As for the solar charging... well, the A/C unit isn't needed, mostly because it's DC to DC. So, there's no noise when using the solar panels to charge the device, unless you're doing it wrong.
I appreciate honest appraisals of items. I'm not saying Pecron is the best, but it is far from the worst.
Your dishonest assessment of a Pecron unit only goes to reinforce the quality of a basic power device. It may not have all the "bells and whistles" of whatever device you're being paid to promote, bit it is far from the POS you're suggesting it is.

That unit seems faulty as lithium batteries don't normally discharge that quickly without use, even the cheap fakes. I would be concerned about the possibility of it bursting into flames if it's not charging correctly. Those brick chargers are very common on mobility scooters here in UK but different input and output voltage of course. 240v in 24v out.

I have Bluetti and Pecron. For Solar the Bluetti (EB3A, EB70S, ac200max) will accept as little as (10VOC) from a single 12 volt panel. The Pecron needs their 36 volts panels (do a VOC comparison) - you need to check their manual for the setup they require. My expanding 1000watt solar array for my ac200max is not configured correctly to charge my Pecrons when it was smaller. I use my Pecrons for camping though and you have to really buy one of their high VOC foldable panels as other brands 12v ones will not work (mine mostly get slow car charging). But the 36v design is what probably is the reason it won't charge with your other solar panels. But yeah, those charging bricks are huge, even my e1000 brick is large and noisy and the unit itself can get really noisy without the brick.

I'm very sorry to see this video, we will verify and deal with this problem quickly! I watched a few problem points in the video to see if my suggestions are effective? For the problem that the solar panel cannot be used, is it possible that the voltage input does not meet the specifications? The solar input specifications of E2000LFP are: 2* GX16MF Port: 32V-95V 600W Max; DC5521 Port: 12V-18V 100W Max; If your panel is 24V, you can connect 2 panels in series to the port of GX16MF; the second charging speed Question, sorry we have designed 2 input ports, and the package comes with a charger, which can charge at a speed of 600W. If users needs a faster speed, they can purchase another charger; its solar input is very good. It accepts a maximum input of 1200W. Yes, E2000LFP is not designed with UPS function. We are sorry to disappoint you. We will continue to make progress. If you like the UPS function, can refer to our new product E1500LFP. sorry for this inconvenience!

Something is definitely wrong with his unit..They don't discharge themselves when turned of..He has to hold the power button for like 3 seconds to power it off..not press it..that just shows the current voltage..lol

The Pecron isn't Scottish, for starters. Shop tool adjacent. Because there are soooo many impact driver rated accessories (drill bits, screw tip bits etc0 now, some RUclipsrs are suggesting that we do away with our drills. Whaaaaaaa? Actually, they're suggesting that for most standard drilling, the impact tool is much easier to use for drilling than drills. So, not completely replacing your regular drill but using it for say, fine woodworking, or when serious torque control is needed. Or, when there isn't an impacted rated drill bit available (like Milwaukee's impacted rated set). If you haven't already, I'd be interested in your take on the 'Throw away your regular drill' thing.

I have the same unit with the 2 solar panels & the cart. It was my 1st & I had some of the same complaints, but blame it on my lack of knowledge. Mine was draining down when I thought it was off, until I figured out you have to HOLD the A/C button in until it says OFF & the display goes off. Now it will hold 100% for months. I do hate the brick, since most come with the inverter built in & are much quieter, also there's no app capability with this model. The expandable batteries are too wide for the cart & heavy as S@%T, so I won't be getting those. That said, the thang is a workhorse & has save the day during power outages. I also like that it puts out clean power & you can plug a guitar amp in without the dreaded hum. Still, I thinking about selling it & another Eco-Flow, cuz theys real nice like. Cheers
