I bought this gun and I absolutely love it. I paid 2300 for the gun,scope,and upgraded forearm or handguard. Also I got a suppressor for it and a bipod.
How did you mount the bipod? That's something I have been considering. I don't want to mess up the barrel harmonics with a barrel mounted setup.
@@-Zevin- I changed out the hand grip to a longer one that also has the M-lok on it. Then I bought a M-lok style mount bipod.

It's actually not hard to pronounce for us English speakers. It's just that most of us have a tendency to pronounce things wrong for some reason.
The stock is actually the pro mag stock, not magpul. And the grip is not magpul either: it’s the tango down battlegrip; same on the m70 of this same model which I have

Considering Serbia is considered the "buckle of the battle belt" of Europe, they sure know how to build them for kickass service. The .308 Win. chambering is the right choice for reaching out to "touch" them! I like the gas, three position adjustment feature, akin to the M76 DMR. Great feature.
I think mine came with the right furniture. Glad I got one with -magpul grips too they're sick- never mind it's TD grips - Archangel stock. But both are very light and quite durable.

I got one for $1500 and I love the M77. I keep it on gas setting 2 and run 168 grain. I’m getting about a 1.5 to 1.7 MOA. Could have something to do with my scope. I seen a pre ban M77 1982 at the gun show and they wanted $2500 😢 but I got a new one. The scope mount was hard to find
@@TheRealBrownShady it’s very close to the M1A in a lot of ways, my HK91 is a bit more accurate but the PAPM77 is my new favorite, with 180 grain .308 you can get 1.3~ MOA
@@TheRealBrownShady the Russian stuff I had I sold because the quality was meh and I had to replace parts that we broken but the Serbian stuff has been great
I hear the barrels are 1:12 twist, which is more geared toward M80 ball ammo (150 grains) anything above 170 grains will have trouble stabilizing.
@@joshuachapman2065 I surprisingly haven’t had any problems with ammo grains at 100 to 400 yards 🤞🏻😎 hopefully it stays that way. It’s worth buying

Nothing new here! I had it during 90s when we had to give our 8mm Mauser ammo to Machine Gunner!
It is just a .308 NATO version of the MY FAVOURITE Sniper/DM RIFLE: PASP M76!
M78=Milled, in 8mm Mauser,standard Sniper Rifle of JNA and later Serbian Army and usually not chrome lined comes with an optic mount and optics!
M77=Stamped,Chrome-Lined Barrel,for export in .308 NATO,usualy found afther 1993. (much lighter)
I fought with both rifles against the army that made it and I prefer M76 any day!
Would use M77 when someone would nick my FN FAL!
Are the M70s the best EVER AKs...well, second only to East German ones!
Everything apart from the barrel (which is Chrome-lined only after 1993 and that boggles my mind!!! Before that brand new gun would be "destroyed" if you did not clean it immediately with both water and soap and an oil kit known as DRNČ that would eat out your hands! (try to pronounce that! LOL) But yeah! It is an extremely accurate rifle with a heavy RPK receiver and is practically indestructible unlike the Iraqi license-manufactured clone "Tabuk"!

It doesn’t come with a Magpul stock it’s a pro mag stock at least that’s what mine says 🤷♂️

csspecs mags. They have them. I got extra 308 mags for my Vepr 16" 308 rifle from them. A bit pricey but Excellent quality.

I wanna like this gun but I can’t understand what this gets you over an AR10
You can put a folding stock on it and still fire its an AK so AK reliablity its got an adjustable gas block so better suppressed alot of the parts are standard AK so you can pop a binary trigger in it
Chrome Lined hammer forged barrel, thicker receiver, Ak reliability. I personally like the ergonomics of aks better than Ar. At the end of the day it’s your preference for what you buy.
AK reliability is real. I think it was overexaggerated allot on the earlier days of the internet, reminds me allot of the myths about Japanese swords. However now guys are running around in the totally opposite direction sharing links of the In range mud test and laughing that the AK has worse reliability than the AR. The AR is a great platform don't get me wrong, but they are just different rifles and handle different situations in different ways. What the AK does bring to the table is a firearm that will work when heavily fouled or unoiled, If it does get dirty it is comically quick and easy to clean, or as simple as dunking the entire rifle in a river or lake. The looser tolerances also bring major advantages in dust and very importantly, sub zero temperatures. You can make a AR work in brutal cold, but it requires pre planning, the right type of oils, care and constant maintenance. A AK in the cold will just work. Even some police departments in Alaska use AK platforms over AR for this very reason. So is the AK some magical super gun, of course not, but it has legitimate advantages (and disadvantages) compared to a AR. All of this of course applies to the M77 contrasted with the AR10, I for instance live in Michigan and I like a no nonsense low maintenance performing rifle that can work well in the cold, and considering in testing these tend to shoot 1-1.5 MOA with high grade ammo, that is plenty good for me sub 500 yards.

Its literally a completely different platform. Do you prefer an AK or an AR? What a weird way of thinking, you are clueless.
Basically you get up charged 400-500 from m70 and you get really crappy no name plastic brand fore grip, zastava really needs to work on quality control, considering the market the price is good but paying more for less quality components is just a bad decision, zastava work on your quality control! Don’t over torque your hand grips to the point where it bends your grip mount plate! The fore end grip used on these are soo cheap and barely fit, work on your black finish coating multiple areas were missed, looks like it was dipped into a bluing or whatever finish bath and bubbles developed around rivets and trigger under side showing bare metal, work on your mag catches they are too short and leave mags very loose to the detriment of ftf, it’s better to have a mag catch too long that can then be shaved down to make custom fit but having it too short just makes you sol, make sure the bolt carrier rear face is at least flush so it doesn’t break the bottom ledge, if zastava could fix these issues the company would be able on its way to being well established gtg brand, these aren’t just few and far in btwn, better really really check out yours before you buy it cause it’s kinda like playing the lotto now😢 two of mine had major function or durability flaws, lost two out of two I don’t know if I’ll try a 3rd time
