I probably won't create a video for it but if you take some of the examples in this video you can envision how XLOOKUP would work. Just reference a parameter like x as an XLOOKUP function. This XLOOKUP video may help as well: ruclips.net/video/xxX8XiuKFEY/видео.html
Still no word from Microsoft. I think they’ve held it because additional functions are getting added that tie into LAMBDA. They may be waiting to test those out and release them all together.
I have 365, but this Lambda function is still not available even if I have installed all updates. It is frustrating to see, how useful this function is and not to be able to use it. This doesn't give good impression about the policy how Microsoft treat their customers.
@@SeleTraining Thank you for your answer. So, we outsiders are still waiting. If it helps the process that first the insiders test the functionality, maybe it is good in the long run.
Potentially. You can create a LAMBDA function based on any formula you want and you can pass a range of data as the parameter variables so it should work but I haven't worked through that process to confirm it.
HEY I HOPE YOU ALL KEEPING WELL, I NEED SOME HELP GUYS FOR MY WEEKLY TIME TABLE... EXAMPLE; FOR RAW, IF I PUT 1 ON B1 IS THERE ANYWAY EXCEL FILL THE REST FOR ME UNTIL H1... SO IF I PUT 1 ON B1 AND PRESS ENTER C1 APPEAR 2 D1 3 , E1 4, F1 5, G1 6 H1 7, AND SAME AGAIN IF I PUT 8 ON B1 AND EXCEL AUTOMATICALLY FILL THERE REST NUMBER FOR ME UNTIL 14. AND IF I PUT B1 15 AND SAME AGAIN FILL THE REST NUMBER FOR ME, I DONT KNOW IF THERE IS ANY FORMULA FOR THIS... HOPE YOU HELP ME... THANKS ....
Assuming you're always doing the same 7 cells, you can set C1's formula to "=B1+1" then drag it over to H1 with the fill handle. Save this worksheet as a template, and then whatever you type in B1 will auto-update the rest of the week, and you can use this for future weekly time tables. This will work with days of the month, as well as actual dates.
Thanks for these great examples! Amazing as always! 😍
Glad you like them!
Awesome video, looking forward to playing with this a lot.
Though parenthesee was a fun term to hear.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Amazing.
Appreciate if u can help to filter with multiple lists.
Thank you

thanks :o)
Thanks but I need more examples on this to understand it better
make sure to check out the first video on LAMBDA: ruclips.net/video/Ayc7QOadBa4/видео.html
Looking for filter list dynamic arrays.

Can you show examples where it can pass a value from xlookup into lambda for calculation

Does this methode save computing power? That would be really interesting if that was the case..
I haven’t ran a comparison but LAMBDA uses native Excel language which may be faster than VBA or other solutions.
Have been using 365 for ages now but still not getting the LAMBDA function. When is it going to be available for general use?

It is still in beta. I have the beta installed as a test user so I see these features sooner. It should be coming soon.

Can it help to create a fifo formula?

Anyone ever tell you you sound like the Technoblade of Excel Mastery?
Multiple times! But the reality is he sounds like me.
