As a North fan, I'm still not overly disappointed that Harley ended up at West Coast, I feel like the mature players are good for his growth and it would have been a shame to see his potential stunted by this absolute mess of a club

I don’t know what the dogs are & where they sit🐶 11. Saints are gonna Saints🤷🏽♂️
The bonus for Geelong is that even though they have lost Selwood and Smith, they have gained Bruhn, Holmes, Dempsy, Ollie Henry, and have players like Mannagh, Knevitt, Conway, Neale, and Mullin all waiting for their chance to establish themselves. If the older players get a reasonable run with injuries, they will definitely be a threat. Let's not forget, they are still without Cam Guthrie and Gary Rohan. Geelong has a very deep list.
To put things in proper perspective, Fremantle in Perth beat Brisbane who are 2W/4L, North Melbourne still winless (Rd 6 2024) & 26 losses from their last 27 games, Adelaide 1W/5L and had two narrow losses, one on a neutral venue vs Carlton and the other was against solid team Port Adelaide with inconsistent form currently. West Coast had expected results essentially the first 4 games, except that they weren't 20 goal defeats as most assumed. The last two weeks has been great for the club and Eagles fans, with 214 points for and 138 points against. Harley Reid is getting the attention he deserved a little earlier and whilst his been awesome and given the hype he recently, it seems it's more for the benefit of those not supportive or affiliated with West Coast, to avoid acknowledgement they're are ahead of expectations. Fremantle were simply outclassed by the Eagles.

I commented earlier in the season that Fremantle's slow, pragmatic style of play, although effective at the time, would not be sustainable. I stand corrected.
In our dark days ? You mean 3 decades in a row ? and it isn’t over because of a good start to a season (but for lol , Adelaide !) This club finds a way to lose .
Lachie Schultz has had the media describe him as ‘struggling’ and he is now cashing in 2 goals a game, if that is so, I am looking forward to his best outputs
Winning 3 games then losing 3 games which all of them were upsets is just gut wrenching. Went to the derby and watched it live and wc was just explosive they took possession opened up the game took strong marks. That is not our brand of footy. Absolutely humiliating and unacceptable football. We got smoked in the contest. Watching it live Harley reid really brought something to that game that gave wc so much momentum. Anyway lets hope we finish off better on the ladder 💜🤍⚓
