Really respect your riding skills, but I've mountain biked all over the United States and Michaux is probably the worst place I've ridden and I live less than 3 miles from the entrance to Michaux. Most of their trails are not mountain bike trails, they're trails people mountain bike but weren't originally designed for mountain biking. Good video and you are a very good rider. Thanks.
The opening section needs some serious love, that overgrowth was insane. Once you got in the woods it looked awesome! Love those rock garden sections. So is this labeled "Big Hog Ridge" on Trailforks? Great riding boys!
Thanks! Roughly 3 1/2 hours with the climb. The climb back took about an hour. We did stop occasionally to rest and to session a few things. The Big Pond Hollow Road climb back does suck though. It’s a dirt/gravel road and is just shy of 4 miles long. If using Trailforks, start at the opposite end in which the trail was recorded. You should end the trail on Big Pond Hollow.
