There have been moments in my life when I have heard or saw somethign that impressed me, and I am saying to myself "yeah that was good". Then you get moments in your life where words are not enough. There are no words to describe Lucy. There is not Adjective in the English speaking world that could adequately describe this beautiful young girl. She has brought tears to my eyes AGAIN.
She played a beautiful piece on the BBC “The piano” at Leeds station. A Chopin number, Nocturne in B flat minor. Well worth hunting down and watching it. There are no words.
lucy's teacher, Daniel Bath says lucy, blind and autistic has the deepest understanding of music of any musician he knows. Daniel plays several instruments himself.
All I can say is you are never alone when you have music in your soul and while Lucy may live her life in physical visual darkness, a beautiful bright light shines from within and radiates from her and the music becomes her vision. Thank you Lucy.
Lucy's piano playing moves many to tears including me. The Chinese chap in the audience is Lang Lang, Lucy's close friend and mentor and acknowledged as one of the greatest living pianists in the world. Huge respect to you for posting this video.
unlike lucy i have no difficulties, even if i could play the piano and have the music sheet to read and had 10 years to practise I COULD NEVER play that well , conclusion...lucy has pure pure talent not only to play the piano but to warm peoples hearts
Her tutor is playing every note in his head. He should receive much of the praise for his ability to teach people with neurodivergent abilities to play music.
Well done to the man sitting next to her who has helped developed this magnificent talent, each time I see and hear her I am mesmerised and it moves me to tears.
So beautiful! There is hope for humanity for as long as things like this can still happen. P.S. I love your "Lion Rampant" flag in the background! Greetings from Scotland. x
Я вражена!!!😮Це зайвий приклад батькам хворих дітей не опускати руки.Вона грає так,як не можуть здорові.Її душа співає та летить до Бога!Дякую тобі,Люсі,за незабуваємі ємоції!❤❤❤
Lucy should be worth £250,000 and performing in the royal variety show in front of king Charles because if she'd entered Britain's got talent she'd have definitely definitely definitely walked first place 😢
I love both sides of squirrel! Try listening to Karolina Protsenko. An amazing violinist. She has over 6 million subscribers on You Tube and over a billion views on all her videos. She is currently 14 and has played on the Promenade in Santa Monica CA since she was 10. She is classically trained also. A few of my favorites of hers are The Gael from Last of the Mohicans, Faded by Alan Walker, and Believer by Imagine Dragons. You won't be sorry!!!
And Angelina singing Faded and Sing me to sleep at an Alan Walker concert. And then there's Emanne Beasha. What's with all this female talent emerging.

Lucy is a gift from GOD: I believe that everyone has a gift: most of us never find that gift. Wonderful!!
Possibly the most gifted person I've ever seen.

Agreed 🤗
Lucy has a real gift, in fact she's a gift to us. Truly amazed by her. She played at the Coronation Concert earlier this month x

Why does her performance do this to me every time I watch it!? Tears to my eyes every time.
Because you have emotions, it does exactley the same to me I'm, 74 yrs of age and she has me blubbering like a baby !
I like this side of you. Takes me to places I wouldn't normally go...., great reaction. I was in tears.
Thank You Bob.
Tina S and her guitar has the same effect on me. Lucy Thomas with her voice has it. These three women are all channel stoppers.❤️👍
Hey found you again! Good job!
Her sight is on the tips of her beautiful young fingers.
Did you like the bit at about 4:32 where Claudia is glancing at Jay and Danny seeing their reaction?
BRAVO!!!!!!!!!
If you believe in the expression “a gift from God…” Lucy certainly received hers from Him - just makes me want to 🙏🏻and 🥲
Hellen I agree 1000x
She played for the coronation of King Charles.

Someone's chopping some pretty big onions in here, and I've got my eyes pressed right to them.

Song?? 😉
Claudia was about to say."That is Lucy." Lucy played a tune, not a song. To be a song a tune needs words.
It is neither a tune nor a song. Lucy is playing on of Claude Debussy's masterpieces, his "Arabesque No. 1". It is a ""piece for piano".
@@conradinhawaii7856 It may be a "piece for piano", it is still a tune.
@@williamjackson2089
I suppose so, if you go in for musical slang. 🙄
@@conradinhawaii7856 What is musical slang about calling a musical composition a tune?
Become a cow; they don't vomit. That was Radio 1 Dave Lee Travis's marriage slot theme, until he quit live on air...
Eh? Why make a comment that NOBODY understands?
