Thanks for taking the time to answer those questions if you can. Seb
Seeing as you like vegemite here's another way to enjoy it for breakfast. Spread vegemite on toast as you would normally, add a slice of cheese and top off with a fried egg, salt and pepper to taste. For extra taste spread some Rosella fruit chutney on the cheese. It's a great way to start the day and it's hangover friendly :)
Lot's of ways to eat Vegemite but my favourite. Still warm fresh uncut white bread. Cut a slice. A spread of butter or margarine, a spread of Vegemite and a layer of cheese cut from a block, fold or add another slice of bread and presto you have one seriously tasty sandwich, Vegemite West Aussies style.

Awww, you two... I can see how you would fit right in down here in Oz. Are you still using your manners like we do here? or has that rubbed off already? Love ya's, come back soon!
Back in the day during poor times people used to add vegemite to water and make a cheap soup, tastes pretty ordinary but you would often find potato, carrot, celery in with it, still not a great soup but if you were poor that was dinner, vegemite on toast with an egg on top is also great or better still do that on a crumpet!
Ohhh Vegemite is versatile, I also use it as gravy base for the roast, a spoon full melted into hot water with some garlic and thickening agent like corn flour...its also great with peanut butter!!!, also cheese and celery...... not too much though. I have been eating peanut butter and jam for donkey years...so its not new here in Australia...
Happy New Year to you both, wishing you guys a fabulous 2021. Take care, stay safe and hopefully you can return to our shores in the not too distant future (Covid depending).

May I suggest chicken, cheese, lettuce and Vegimite sanwiches. Must also have a good helping of roast chicken skinn as well. That it in a nut shell. As good as a Tim tam slammer.😎

Thanks for the kind words! 😊
When you deside to travel back to Australia you should try jumping acoss the Tasman sea and try the New Zealand culture and see how close it is
Awww, you two...
Sounds tasty 😊
Happy Easter, from Melbourne
😊
Ohhh Vegemite is versatile, I also use it as gravy base for the roast, a spoon full melted into hot water with some garlic and thickening agent like corn flour...its also great with peanut butter!!!, also cheese and celery...... not too much though. I have been eating peanut butter and jam for donkey years...so its not new here in Australia...
Who knew it was so versatile
there is an Aussie care package delivery called "Down Under Box" where they send you your favorite Australian items such as vegemite, timtams as such.
Good to know!
You should try cheesybite Vegemite when you come back😀 It’s not as strong as Vegemite but just as delicious 😋
Sounds good 😊
Your dad's toast is hardcore... Even by our standards. Love it
Haha that it is!
Happy New Year to you both, wishing you guys a fabulous 2021. Take care, stay safe and hopefully you can return to our shores in the not too distant future (Covid depending).
Happy new year!! 😊
My favorite You Tube channel full stop. So positive, so full of joi de vivre. God bless you & come back soon
Thanks for the kind words 😊
Vegemite:the breakfast of champions. Happy New Year. 🤙
Happy new year! 😊
Good to hear from you guys!
I've lived here 20 years and because Ii wasn't taught how to eat vegimite (spelled wrong); I just got a shock and never touched i again LOL
However as foreign Italian national living in Australia this video made me appreciate Australia more; (even if I feel Americans are more social outgoing people) :)
Hope you do come back to finish your time here... (How long that might be)
Fair enough! Hope we can come back too 😊
You guys will be back!!
When you return, come to the Central Coast and visit my home town Terrigal. It’s only an hour north of Sydney :)
Sounds like a plan 👍
Vegemite? You guys have been Aussiefied. Good on ya!
Love our vegemite 😊
You need to try vegemite with your eggs on toast.... great with scrambled, poached and hard boiled.... delish~
Sounds great 😊
Lovely to see you guys. Have wonderful year.
You too!
We’ll all still be here when you’re able to come back and we’ll welcome you with open arms and a jar of Vegemite :-)
Sounds good to us 😊
G'day, The public transport is basically only in the city's.
Try the Vegemite on toast with a slice of cheese and an (cooked) egg.
Sounds great, well give that a go 😊
amazing that your americans and that you like vegemite !!!
your an awesome couple hope you both return to Australia someday
We doo too 😊
Next time you're able to visit, ask your fav Aus barista if they sell ground roasted coffee beans by the bag. Many cafes do. With the help of a good ol' fashioned American Aeropress, you'll be buzzing on Australian coffee back home with no problemos;)
Great idea ☺️
May I suggest chicken, cheese, lettuce and Vegimite sanwiches. Must also have a good helping of roast chicken skinn as well. That it in a nut shell. As good as a Tim tam slammer.😎
Sounds good!
Public transport varies considerably across Australia. Sydney and Melbourne are great, but Adelaide is terrible. You would definitely need a car. I don't know too much about the other major cities,.
👍
I’ll look into the postage to you guys for vegemite! I’ll keep you updated!
You're too kind, thanks for watching 😊
