  • I have Tokina AF 35-70mm f/3.5-4.6 fore some time. The lens did not impress me. So I buried it with some other bad optic far far away in the galactic "Cupboard". Recently rediscovered it, and I remember that I head Pentax SMC Takumar-F 35-70mm F3.5-4.5 smaller and lighter lens that I bought for landscape photography. Yess the plastic, the reason because the lens barrel doesn't get cold in winter. Tokina has stuck aperture blades and Pentax some electronic malfunction.
The SMC Pentax-F 35-70mm f/ 3.5-4.5 is a standard autofocus zoom lens for film and digital SLR Pentax cameras.
The front filter rotates on focusing, which makes it difficult to use gradient and polarizing filters.
    Macroscale: 1:4
The Tokina AF 35-70 mm f/ 3.5-4.6 Macro is a standard zoom lens for 35mm SLR cameras.
    Macro 1:5.4
In reverse mode, Tokina is more capable to do macro, than in macro setting.
The idea was to compare both lenses in reversed macro capabilities.
I added other lenses in competition, to see and compare the results.

This is not intended to be turned in to the video. So I thought why not, it's a convenient way to see the results instead of browsing through the hard drive.
