As a long-time Pacers (and primarily a Small Market team fan), this is a great channel!
If we get Brandon Ingram, we are cooked. Look at how he performed on USA Basketball last year! He needs the ball in his hands to perform well. He can be pretty lax on defense and is an off the dribble creator?? We need guys who can spread the floor for Giannis and Dame. He does not make sense for us.

There is zero way you do this if you're Horst. Brandon Ingram is a HIGH volume LOW efficiency 2 level scorer who underperforms when it matters most. We've seen that in the playoffs, and we've seen that at the international level last year. He was supposed to be one of the USMNT leaders at the world cup, and he was SO BAD that he lost his starting spot 🤣

But...Ingram and Middleton are essentially the same player, both play the same position and are ISO mid range scorers with an occasional three, similar height, both play bad defense, both are injury prone AF... This looks more like a sidegrade than an upgrade...🤔

I don't know much about BI. However, from what I can see, he can score, younger, and midrange shooter. I think it's time to move on from Middleton. Middleton has become like a car that you have to keep sticking money in because it's constantly breaking down. We are not looking for a top scorer. We have Dame and Giannis for that. If we can get him, I'm all for it.
It’d be dumb to trade for Ingram. Next year they can trade Middleton when Lopez is off the cap, Bobby will probably decline his option to find a better deal in the market. Pat will pick his up, but easier expiring to trade. They have to run this squad back 1 more time
