Scott Grimes is the voice of steve. Hes a singer song writer on top of being an actor. He had an album release in 1989 and 2005.
Also when steve is playing the piano and his mom was dressed as a shepherd girl, that was like a storytime thing and in that scenario steve wasnt related to her. It was just that thing shows like A.D do to save from making new charcter designs. I think anyways. Probably.

One of the weirdest things about American Dad is the fact that Stan and Francine don't really sing well, but Hayley and Steve have such great singing voices.
Strange cuz Stan is voiced by Stan and he's such a good singer as you can hear in all his other characters. But somehow Stans voice just doesn't work for singing.
