You find all her performance so "boring"? really? are you sure? Well. not all songs are meant to make you dance or keep your eyes peeled, some good songs are meant to be sang softly and smoothly and that's what Thia is doing. Her voice is good enough to put her on a good rank among all those good singers this season.

What I will always HAT about American Idol and what made me stop watching it was that these judges took beautiful talented voices like this and beat the contestant down because she didn't fulfil their fancy. You had Simon being his nasty self for ratings and you Randy calling her boring one night as his assessment of her singing. No wonder most of the "winners" of this show never became very successful

How was it possible that Irene Cara's songs Fame and FlashDance to be aired with none of All These Great Songs aired shown on Back Dated Video to the Early 1980's along with TV shows and more?

Finally! Randy Jackson said it perfectly!! It's not the runs or the power of the voice but the QUALITY! That's why Mariah fans annoy me so much! Sure, Mariah has high octave voice but the quality? It's just good, not great. Whitney, especially Barbra Streisand's voices are just superb! Their quality just really stood out! Even Thia Megia's version of Out Here On My Own is way better than Mariah's version! Cheers!
yeah you are right. I am not so fan of mariah but you are wrong about sayin the vocal quality of mariah isnt great. she had a distinct and great voice maybe its just ruined as time passed. just check out "my all of mariah" you can hear the quality of her voice.

She probably won't win but just getting on this show can get you the chances to become a singer
