I've been using RTV silicone for an added adhesive on my outdoor projects with some success. Still using the hot glue on indoor, but the silicone is pretty durable to the elements for outdoor projects and is clear. Great project and tutorial.
I wanted to let you know that I love your content, it's actually practical information that has helped me a lot for projects! I especially enjoy your content about all the IP cameras you have tested so far, and man, I think your comparisons are under the best I have ever seen on RUclips. I would also have a question and would be happy if you could answer: I am recently working on a project which would require security cameras supporting direct RTMP (so after the settings are saved on it, it should be able to directly stream to RUclips trough any internet connection). You made a great video about the RTMP function of the Dahua HDW5831 and in its description you mentioned that the new Dahua HDW2831T would also have that function, is that right? Also if you know any other/better simple security cams with RTMP please let me know. (I will ofc also use your affiliate links :) Thanks for your hard work and best regards, Andrei
I hope the hot glue holds. I have not had much luck with hot-glue holding things myself. Mind you, I have only ever had one LED strip that held tight with the adhesive it comes with, and that was a Warm White strip from BTF. All the others seem to just fall off quickly :). It's looking good so far though on your scooter.
On man this guy is great with his knowledge and creativity on LED but Ill be honest his install skills and making it disappear aren't there and that switch could have been put by the handle bars for ease of use :O).
Well sure, but since all power runs through that switch, it means a lot more cable work then you realize I think. Would also mean increasing all cable glands and passing by the twisting points on the e-scooter, having to make sure those functions aren't impaired either. Switch is easy to reach and only needs to be done once per ride? Rest of the control is through the app. Not saying it can't be done, but in my opinion not worth the effort. :) Could I have made thing look prettier and such, oh yes for sure. But for me, also not worth too much time, generally it would be dark anyway. 🤣
Please ga hier niet zomaar mee de openbare weg op. Hij wordt ingenomen en daarnaast rijd je onverzekerd rond waardoor je op de zwarte lijst wordt gezet als je hier mee betrokken raakt ergens bij. Mijn advies: wacht tot de wetgeving het toe laat
Ben ik mij van bewust. Ik heb er hier in het dorp enkele keren een kort stukje in de buurt mee gereden maar verder is hij bedoelt voor binnen gebruik op LANparties en dergelijke evenementen, dus eigen terrein. Maar thnx voor de waarschuwing! :)

So far so good, this was already shot a little while ago and so far it's holding perfectly!
there are tricks to 3m tape..... VHB Tape and the activator just saying it will never come off then
It's easier so solder to the back of the strip on 144 LED strips
