Pop also tends to be repetitive, but also generally doesn't sound so much like fast poetry that Country is. Country is like the Poets fun zone, to say the least (take the words "You feel so home grown", distinctly Country) I suppose if there's another point to add, Pop tends to be simplistic, but have definitively different choruses than the rest of the song. Oh, and lets not forget the synthesizer Pop tends to use over classical instruments...not a unbreakable rule, but you'll notice the trend.
