Here in the South, heat pumps are designed to stay on all yr round. No need to turn your pump off. Also leave all inside doors open for equal air circulation, less strain on the pump.
Hey Justin, the heat pumps heat pretty well until the temp gets in the mid 40's. You need electric strip heat to kick in when the temp gets in the 30's. Glad you are back on the road.
Glad to hear that you got a load!! That hill was terrible to get up but you got it done as usual!!!! Have a great night and hopefully we’ll see you tomorrow and you’ll be getting a good load back home or anywhere in your lane as long as it’s paying good!!!!
Justin, call an HVAC guy and have a propane furnace installed before that heat pump burns itself up trying to put out way more heat than it's designed to do. For cold weather, they're made to work WITH a furnace. You might also install a gas cook stove or a propane wall heater to keep the place from freezing if the power goes out. These cold blasts are gonna become the norm
Man; I would have been so tense making that tight turn on the hill!. It sure was fun to watch you calmly do it though. I don't think I want to be a trucker but I love the life lessons I learn from you.
I was working in team 11 years ago and we had delivery in small town in PA and we couldn't legally get to receiver. There were 3 bridges all of them had smaller weight limit than our loaded truck was. Finally after about 30 extra miles end extra hour and half driving around I took pledge and went through one of bridges thankfully it held up well lol It was begging of my trucking career
Slopes like that driveway are always difficult to pave. Significant subgrade work needs to be done to serve as an anchor for either concrete or asphalt to keep from being washed away in rains.
I had a similar problem with my truck loosing traction. I was at a truck stop that had a clay parking lot that was perfectly level but the ground was soaking wet. I ended throwing cat litter which I use on compact snow or ice under the drives to get traction.
That Hill Was A Nightmare But I See You Were Able To Get The Job Done , Makes Me Feel Proud To Know That There Are Guys That Reminds Me Of Myself And A Friend That I Taught How To Drive. Keep Up The Great Work.
Glad you're getting up the hill. I would think there's a great place for kids in the area to watch the trucks attempting to get up it when its icy🥶. Good video Justin. Keep them rolling. Me thinks the company owning that property should make their roadway a lot better than that. That's absolutely rubbish. One of these days, a truck will slip and go over and crash into the highway, and could take out some cars
If you shut the water off to your lakehouse do not forget to turn the breakers off for the hot water heater Otherwise you will be replacing a hot water heater because the elements will burn out
That was quite a challenge. Personally I think after checking out that shipper on google maps, I might have tried approaching it from the other direction, pulling past the drive, and backing the trailer off the road. At least that way, if it just didn't work, I could at least pull back out into traffic.
If you want to stay with heat pump go with ground source. Greater expense to install but is all season. Pumps heat from the ground in heating season and into the ground in cooling season.
Justin heat pumps are great for the summer, but a gas furnace is an additional appliance you need when that temp drops below 40. For a small house electric floor board heating is a must. Stay warm.
I’ve done in Montebello California. I had to go against traffic and there was a cop in the traffic watching drive over a bed of flowers and he just waved and honked his horn while everyone was recording me. One of many worse shippers I’ve been to.
Crazy with the condition of that path and have a solid roadway up that hill, But why am I surprised because every day theres some pothole or bump just waiting for me to come along and to ruin my cup of coffee
We haven't had school since Monday . Snow rain and wind welcome to Minnesnowta. My Husband said the roads have been horrible and he is on his way to PA today.
Justin I drove for 28 years, 10 years being an o/o, used 90 wte, then I was talking with a old timer, been driving for over 40 years, he told me to use regular Lucas oil stableizer. The temp was lower and when the seal goes out, the leak is a lot slower than the 90 wait.
Nice work with that hill, that was a super mess. We used to get that kind of climb at farms with the tankers all the time. the last time I was pulling an Aframe and the semi was half full and had no baffles! That was fun, let me tell you, especially since it was raining and the farmer had just graded his drive, so I had no idea where the solid spots were hahahaha! Once all the wieght flew to the back pulling the fifth and drivers off the road it was almost all over, had to back all the way out then gun it, I had just enough momentum to get up there. Was a fun time. Always went there first or last after that.
I wish I was going south on my current load but going to Connecticut and have to travel thru all that crazy weather in Pennsylvania but glad to see you back on the road again justin.
Heat pumps work great until the outside temp drop into the 20 -30 degree range mine is old so under 40* it struggles. where I live we have normal lows from dec thru march 10-20 degrees and as low as -20 so backup heat is a must. In your area electric would be fine or even a propane furnace.
This is why in Europe we use 95% Cabovers and about a foot between the cab and the trailer so it just misses eachother when turning .... our roads are more compact
Awesome job getting into that dock. What a mess! Do you need a license to fly your drone. Been thinking of buying one. I don't know anything about it. God bless and stay safe.
(30:22) So that Ambulance on the left could be doing Patient Transports.. I ride as a Patient in the back of the Ambulance all the time some times several hours one way to the doctors office.. The reason why this occurs is that some of us patients require this due to our medical conditions in my case I over weight and my Bariatric Wheel chair does not fit on the Medical transport van or bus platforms.. The wheels fit but the finger grabs that are mounted to the wheels of my wheelchair cause my wheelchair to be too wide to fit onto the platform. So since I am mostly Wheelchair/ Hospital bed bound these days we require the ambulance to transport me all over the place.. This is why you may see ambulances out on the road heading to doctors offices instead of to the ER or other locations etc.. The longest I have ridden in the back as a patient is 3 hrs. one way.
Your heat pump should already have heat strips turn on em heat and they should come on if not mine had tripped out one time so you should check it out Norm you will have to Google where the breaker is mine is on the unit in the house
Yeah you never know with Trucking repairs Justin 🤯 1000 things could go wrong, sometimes back to back man 🤪🤪 EDIT: I personally enjoy this specific background music Justin with the drone!!
Thank you for the video Justin , Sorry you had to deal with C H Robinson , I had to deal with them alot , My Fleet Manager would give me the C H Robinson broker loads , I so hated those loads would rather bite a Bear in the Ass then deal with them , Stay Safe .
Today I had to help one of y’all long nose guys idk if it’s worth it I thought about getting a Coronado but idk anymore this guy had a bran new Pete beautiful truck but I bet his leg was about to fall off hitting the clutch and gas and break thru out the backing process.

That drone footage really gives you an idea of how much room you didn't have to maneuver that big W9. Good job brother.

I had a white cat once. ONCE. Ohhhhhhhh, that white hair everywhere. 😱

Between Yellowstone, 1883, 1923, and Tulsa King, Paramount has got us all hooked..
Get a Nest thermostat for the lake house. With Wi-Fi you can set yout temperature from anywhere ant time.
Great video. Stay safe.

Crazy that you had to pull off that kind of maneuver!!!

when i could not make a turn like that i would call the police in that town and they were good to come out and help me !

That was truly a big test of your driving skills. I give you an A+.

Beautiful driveway. Looks more like a joggers path.
the heat strips make it appear it's warm air but in general it will raise the air temp 15 degrees over a day

Your AC at the lake house, if it runs a lot during the summer & if you're going to run it as a heat pump, I would have it serviced once a year.
Have a good Christmas with your family all the best Justin.

Safe Travels Hector 😎🙏🏽
I see the drone is back
A heat pump will not work when the ambient temp is below 32 degrees
Note : Carolina plastics, never again. Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄 🤶✨️🙏
W900 KW is a nice truck to drive....until you get in a tight spot. Reminds me of a job site I delivered to earlier this year.
GOD Bless Bro !!! Enjoyed the run !
Good to see you rolling again Look for to your videos Stay warm and safe
Keep on trucking and always be safe and obey all speed laws. Grumpy Grandpa here in Aiken.
😌you have emoji permanently!
Justin, Mental note in the future! Bide high on this load due to the extent of the just making entry in a safe way. Stay safe driver.
Yes indeed
When I went local I learned really quick that "illegal" really means "suggestion"
Mary CHRISTMAS to all.
middle child power make sure u give your little man much attention brother
90% of the new trailer today are filled with oil for one it runs cooler the only problem I had with them are seals going bad

I do illegal turns all the time sometimes u have to do what u have to do to make the appointment
An ounce of momentum is worth a pound of traction.
Turn on the "traction control" will brake a wheel if it starts to spin.
This is why in Europe we use 95% Cabovers and about a foot between the cab and the trailer so it just misses eachother when turning .... our roads are more compact
Great video 👍 Justin you need to get a electric stand scooter or borrow your kids one as it will make easy check in to the recieving office .
Good idea!!
Hey 👋 Good Morning 🙏 Bro , Yea They Need To Fix That Drive Way .. Good Job Going Up That Ranp ..
Yes they do
Hey justin, oil bath dissipates the heat better than the grease, good choice.
I use to take a scrap for that place a guy name billy runs the place very nice guy and I feel you I hate the drive way to
Oh my you remind me general electric in Puerto Rico its was tight I was back in up almost hitting the fense.
Where do you leave your trailer when your at the summer home ?
Justin get yourself echo pb755 backpack blower will make easy work of that property
Anderson , smoking pigs barbeque if your between clemson and anderson. the original and best.
great way to break in bath hubs putting on pressure driving up an incline, while hanging in the road... good stuff
You need to get a yard vac for the yard
Tulsa king yes pretty damn good show I agree!
Get some RV anitfreeze from walmart and put in all your sinks toilets drains.
Merry Christmas 🎄 You All !
The wood is not there to stop the trailer... its there to raise the height of the back of the trailer....
Great job dude thanks for sharing God bless
Now you can put some Chrome wheels on the Trailer.
Unify truck that you met at the shipper is from my area of Yadkinville North Carolina
Imagine trying to make that corner up that drive way with one of those fancy stretched out tractors.
You got to almost hit the building yeah it’s rough I know
Heat pumps will only make the inside about 20* warmer than the outside temp
Carolina Plastics should be held liable. Broker should be sued. Where is the DOT?

Your heat pump should already have heat strips turn on em heat and they should come on if not mine had tripped out one time so you should check it out Norm you will have to Google where the breaker is mine is on the unit in the house
what would happen if the truck wasn't manual shifting? This place needs a proper asfalt. asap for sure.
Yeah you never know with Trucking repairs Justin 🤯 1000 things could go wrong, sometimes back to back man 🤪🤪 EDIT: I personally enjoy this specific background music Justin with the drone!!
Nice Kenworth
Great driving!!
just want to wish y’all a merry Christmas
Doing it right is the way to go😎
Hey Justin question for you why do you park your red Dodge so far away from your tractor trailer when you're leaving?
I’m in the Atlanta area Friday getting loaded
I like and watch all your videos. Your bike in the garage looks like a racing bike (long). Heat pumps can be $ and ware out.
I love that show Tulsa King
I live in Tulsa. I have not watched but everyone ask.
Hey was just thinking today what happened to your friend you pulled that refer for? Did he get the loads delivered Monday?
These shippers dont make it easy on truckers.
Great video stay safe
So how did you get in there?
And does shipper send out guys to block traffic? Or direct you in?
He's back another great video🎅NC
That job wasn't worth 750 with that much hassle.
What kind of life should you get out of those oil hubs?
Thank you for the video Justin , Sorry you had to deal with C H Robinson , I had to deal with them alot , My Fleet Manager would give me the C H Robinson broker loads , I so hated those loads would rather bite a Bear in the Ass then deal with them , Stay Safe .
NICE CAR !!!!!
Today I had to help one of y’all long nose guys idk if it’s worth it I thought about getting a Coronado but idk anymore this guy had a bran new Pete beautiful truck but I bet his leg was about to fall off hitting the clutch and gas and break thru out the backing process.
