Adding to my mantra. Right now it's "I am strong and healthy. My body can do amazing things. I am committed to having fun exercising. Something is better than nothing." I listened to a book about developing habits and I had to pick a habit, write down all my negative feelings about it, then write the opposite of each feeling and turn it into a mantra. So my mantra is a little long but it is working so far. Say out loud who you are. I have been doing that, too. My name is Greta and I eat apples when I am hungry. Haha. Helps me pick healthy options most of the time. I am working on my anxiety so adding the emotions follow action to my mantra Thanks! I have been on medication for almost a year and I finally feel like tackling things that my brain had to ignore to stay sane. I made myself a weekly schedule and I have it on the fridge and I am slowly adding to it. Helps me immensely! I am watching people like you as my "habit heroes" so I know who to copy. I have been exercising daily for 3 weeks now. Mostly following a fitness app but if time is short, I count walking back and forth 10 times in my house as exercise because something is better than nothing.
that's amazing! thank you for sharing. Before when i would read in personal development books that I should repeat a mantra everyday I thought it wasn't for me. Then after seeing it in book after book i finally did it and it basically brainwashes you into the person you want to be. if you ever need any help please let me know!
This helps a lot. Thank you 😊 💪
