How he still didn’t get a perfect score is just an insult
Billy Ward 2 of the judges gave max score and the third got fired 😂
T Crics that’s funny 😆
Judges will almost never give perfect scores in events like this. Especially if Travis wasn't the last rider in the event. I don't remember if this was the last trick/rider in that event. But they still need some buffer room in scoring in case someone goes wild and pulls something extra.
@@DK_Son he was the last rider. They intentionally made him the last rider because they KNEW he was gonna do the double. And he did it perfectly. This should have been 100, no debates. In fact, I remember reading something a year later after this saying how the other judges kicked out the dude that didn't LOL

"He didn't just do it, he did it flawlessly."

Crazy that now ppl are doing triple backflips
How he didn’t get a perfect 100 was the only black mark of that day !
Now 14 years later a double backflip will only score you an 85.... crazy how insane this sport has become
Another 14 years later a triple front flip body varial will only get you 80 points.
Human progression is a powerful force
Fo Real.
Well landing in air ramps the consequences are much MUCH LESS.

Gawd, I was only 14 at the time and I remember jumping out of my lower bunk bed when Travis stuck the landing. Watching it live was exhilarating and it still sends shivers down my spine.
